Cold cement cocoon

Slowly at the beginning
Was sleeping safe and sound
Not noticing the ringing
That i was supposed to come out

Myself wasn't simply lost
I was caught up in an unknown substance
Slowly testing the resistance of the past
Could I break it under the pressure of your glance

So I stay in my cocoon to overwinter your coldness
Waiting till spring breaks my frozen shell and I can finally fly free
But you have made this strong butterfly a weak mess
Now I'm scared of flying, because what's high up the people could see

So I stay in a cold cement cocoon
No one knows what's inside
While all around the nature is in bloom
But that's alright
