Chapter 5 Part 2

POV Amy

We arrived at the hotel. All of us. Lando and Bailey are talking and they look really happy. George and I just checked in and we are waiting for Max.

When Max is done checking in we all walk to our rooms. I drop my bags and give George a hug. I really enjoy spending my weekends with him.

After a shower Bailey and I are going out to eat while George and Lando are going to work out. Bailey and I meet in the hallway and we go to a restaurant close by.

When we arrive we get a table and sit down. After we ordered our food and have our drinks we start talking.

"So, how was your flight?" I ask her and smile. "Amazing" she says and laughs softly. She tells me about the flight and how fun it was to be with Lando again. "I'm still scared, what will his manager and Zak say?" She says when she's finished. "I'm sure Lando wouldn't have taken you with him if he didnt think this through" I say and try to reassure her.

She looks at me and nods. Our food arrives and we start to eat. We're discussing about what will happen this weekend.

After we were done eating we go back to the hotel. When I arrive back in my room I meet George. He looks like he had just gotten out of the shower. He tells me about his work-out and then we decide to watch a movie. During the movie we both fall asleep.

~Friday morning~

POV Bailey

When I wake up I turn around expecting to meet Lando. I feel that the bed is empty. I hear the door open and Lando enters the room. "Goodmorming, ready for practice?" I ask him and smile. "Yes, definitely" he answers.

I get out if bed and get ready to go with Lando. "Are you sure you can just take me with you?" I ask a little insecure. "Yes, I talked to them" is all he answers.

When we walk outside we see George, Amy and Max. "Goodmorning" Amy says, full of energy. We say hi to each other and then we make our way to the circuit.

When we arrive there I smile, I missed this. We walk to the McLaren pitbox and I greet everyone. Everyone is still very nice to me, but I try to avoid Zak and Lando's manager.

He goes to get ready while I talk to Carlos. We talk about the free practice and when Lando gets back they get into their cars. Lando looks at me one more time and then he drives away.

Practice one is over, Lando got to p9 and now he is talking to his engineer. When he's done we walk to his dressing room and the first thing Lando does is grabbing something to eat.

We talk for a little and then it's time for fp2. It looks like rain is coming soon. Lando gives me a hug and then he gets in his car. But indeed after a few moments it starts to rain. The teams hesitate to let the driver out on the track.

After a few minutes they send Lando on track. The circuit is very wet and grip is hard to find. Multiple drivers fail to set a timed lap. Lando did but he ended in p12.

Lando gets out of his car and takes his helmet off. We walk to the dressing room as he is wet from the rain. He quickly changes into jeans and a McLaren team shirt. We walk back to the pitbox. I see Carlos walking up to us. He greets us and then he starts talking to Lando about the practice.

I grab my phone and see that Amy texted me.

'George and I are leaving in 10 minutes, you guys ready?'

'Lando is talking to Carlos but after that we're coming'

Lando says bye to Carlos and we walk towards George and Amy. When we get closer we see Max also standing there. We greet them. "So what are we doing for dinner?" Amy drops the question immediately. I smile. "I'm going to choose the restaurant" Lando says and smirks.

We all get back to the hotel. When I arrive I walk to the bathroom. "What are you doing?" Lando asks as he appears behind me. "I'm going to take a shower" I answer and turn around. We stare at each other and I softly smile.

He comes closer and kisses me. I put my arms around his neck and his hands find their way to my hips. We pull apart and I look at him, still standing the way we did.

"Why not take a shower together, it saves water" Lando says and smirks. "Sure Norris" I answer and smile.
