Chapter 5 Part 3

Pov Bailey

I wake up in the arms of Lando. I turn around and see that he's still sleeping. I hear his alarm going and wake him up. He slowly opens his eyes and looks at me, he smiles and gives me a kiss. "Goodmorning" Lando says with a very deep sleepy voice.

"Goodmorning, it's time to get up, it's qualifying day" I say excited and smile. Lando turns around and puts the blanket over his head. "I don't want to get up" he mumbles. "You have to, I mean, you cant miss it" I answer him.

He slowly gets out of bed and walks to the bathroom. I giggle and then get up myself. We both get ready and then leave the hotel room to get breakfast. I texted Amy but she didn't answer me so I guess she's still asleep.

After Lando and I get breakfast we head to the circuit. We have fp3 and qualifying today. Lando walks into the pitbox while I go look for Amy. It doesn't suprise me when I find her at the Williams pitbox. George heads in and Amy stays with me.

After talking for a little bit we decide to go out and drink something. Fp3 wasn't really exciting and we agreed to be back before Qualifying.

We go to a local restaurant and we start chatting about random things, as we usually do. She talks about her movie night with George. I've never seen her happier than when she got in a relationship with George.

-time skip-

Amy and I get back to the circuit on time. We still have thirty minutes before qualifying. Amy heads to Williams and I walk to McLaren.

I greet Lando with a hug. He tells me about fp3 whilst getting ready for qualifying. He's always nervous before racing, wich makes alot of sense. He gives me a hug and then he gets into the car.

I watch with great focus. I enjoy watching Lando race. It makes him so happy and he truly loves doing it. I can see the joy in his eyes when he talks about it.

Lando ends up qualifying 7th. When he arrives back into the pits I walk outside the pitbox and I go to his dressing room. After a few minutes Lando comes in as well. I give him a big hug and smile. He quickly changes and then we head back to the hotel room.

Lando and I got asked out for dinner tonight by Amy and George. We do this on the regular, just go out all together. We try to do it as much as possible since Amy and I cant spend every weekend with George and Lando.

When Lando and I arrive back at the hotel he gets into the shower and changes into more formal clothes. I change quickly as well and then we all head out for dinner.

We talk about a lot, about the upcoming races, family and even about the YouTube channel Amy and I own.

Amy looks sad because she knows we have to go home in two days, but we're still excited for the race tomorrow.

After a long but fun day we go back to our hotel.
