It was pouring rain and I was standing at the bus stop, waiting for my bus while getting soaking wet. I knew I could just call a cab or even walk home but I preferred using the bus.

"Jimin?" I turned around to Jungkook coming up to me, holding up an umbrella shielding both of us from the soaking weather. Contrary from him, I looked like I had just taken a shower with my clothes on. Hugging my chest and legs trembling, I looked miserable.

Jungkook asked me as he stood close enough to protect me from the rain "What're you doing out here? Can't you see the weather is pouring rain?" and I embarrassingly answered as I glanced up at him "I'm waiting for the bus"

He opposed as he wrapped an arm around me "I can't leave you standing like this, you'll catch a cold" and walked me away to the direction he came from. I didn't insist on staying at the bus stop, I was actually freezing to death. I was glad he had come to take me home, I would've just stood there stupidly.

We got to his apartment and he opened the door before I said as I looked down at my soaked feet stepping inside "I'm sorry if I make the floor dirty, I can take my shoes off if you wan-" He cut me sweetly "It's alright, I'll just mop it later" and I shyly nodded before he walked me to his bedroom.

It looked like an average teen bedroom, slightly messy. Jungkook was quickly picking up some stuff and throwing them into his wardrobe as he saw that I was looking around.

He led me into the bathroom and told me as I placed my phone and house keys on the countersink "While you shower, I'll get ready for you something to sleep in" I nodded and he left before I turned on the shower, undressing as I let the water warm up.

Jungkook's POV:

After leaving the bathroom for Jimin to shower, I grabbed from my wardrobe a random shirt and underwear before folding it and placing it at the bathroom door for Jimin to pick up and change into after his shower.

While waiting for Jimin to come out I was making dinner, some kimchi fried rice. It's always the best food to have on a rainy day, and the weather had gotten worse by now. It was literally a storm, Jimin's going to have to stay here for the night.

I finally the bathroom door opened just as I was serving the rice on plates. I looked up to see Jimin with his messy dried hair and the oversized t-shirt I had given him, we could barely see the underwear since the shirt was so big.

I brought him his plate without staring too much and we settled down on the couch while watching some random stuff on the television.

Jimin's POV:

After my first bite of fried rice I hummed amusingly and threw my knees in the air before eating more of it. It was really good, I didn't know Jungkook could cook that well. I finished my plate in just a few minutes and Jungkook had barely started.

He laughed with his eyebrows raised in shock and he told me as he glanced over at the glass wall behind us showing the weather "You'll have to stay here tonight, the rain's turning into a storm" I nodded and sat back on the couch before sighing, trying to digest the rice I had just gobbed.

Jungkook eventually finished his plate and took both empty dishes back to the kitchen before laying them in the sink.

I thanked him as he came back "Thanks for letting me stay here, you really are a good friend" and he blushed as he sat back down next to me.

We started watching television and at some point I was so tired I laid my head down on Jungkook's shoulder. I could feel him burning up, it made me blush. But what I was most concerned about his heartbeat, it was beating at an outrageous speed.

Was it possible that...Jungkook liked me? Was that why he's being so nice to me?

I sat up again and turned to Jungkook, shocked to see that he was already looking at me. Our eyes connected, he knew what I had just found out. And we were inches apart, our noses almost touching from Jungkook slowly leaning in.

I looked down at his lips getting closer and closer and I started leaning in as well but as our lips were about to touch, my phone started ringing on the coffee table.

I looked over at it and awkwardly grabbed my phone to see that it was Mom calling. I embarrassingly excused myself and got up as I answered the phone, walking into the kitchen to not bother Jungkook.

Jungkook's POV:

As Jimin was speaking to his mother on the phone, I leaned over my knees and hid my face in my hands.

"Are you stupid, Jungkook? Why would you kiss him?"

I couldn't believe what had just happened, I couldn't see him anymore. I was too embarrassed, I needed to leave. I got up and Jimin saw me enter my bedroom before shutting the door, too nervous to even say goodbye.

Jimin's POV:

After hanging up with Mom I started worrying about Jungkook. I could tell he wasn't comfortable with being in the same room as me.

Suddenly lightning struck outside and my eyes widened in fear. I was scared of lighting, I'd lock myself in my room during a storm.

I couldn't sleep on the couch, not with a clear wall showing a terrifying storm. I ran to Jungkook's door and let myself in before hopping under the covers, hugging his chest from behind to his my face in the back of his neck.

I mumbled before he could even speak "I'm sorry to disturb your sleep, but thunderstorms scare me" and he stayed quiet as he fell back to sleep.
