Naruto pov 

(We were in a forest.

Why you may ask? Well the hokage thought we should ALL get to know each other. And yes all of us. Of course there was kakashi sensai who was on guard in the area in case we got attacked but other than that it was just us the genin teams.)

3rd person pov

Ino had suggested a game of truth or dare.Naruto grudgingly joined after afew turns choji was asked what was something his parents told him rather they didn't want anyone to know. Choji thought for a moment then awnsers "That they participate in the fox hunt".the awnser was greeted with a confused silence until Sakura broke it "whats the fox hunt?" Choji explained "it happens every October 10th and after all the mourning and celebration people go out, hunt down the junjunki and hurt whoever it is"

Naruto knew what the fox hunt was of course. He was the junjunki. He started thinking and was quickly snapped back to reality when he realized someone was talking to him "yeah?" He looked up to see everyone looking at him obviously having been thinking of ways to torture him. "What would you do if you caught the junjunki Naruto?" He was unsure of what to say  but before he could even say anything Sasuke yelled out "I would use it as a punching bag to practice on!" Naruto lookedd at him but hid his fear "so you guys are going to do it this year?" They all responded with a yes. I slowly came up with a response  "I could send you guys on a scavenger hunt to find out who it is if you wanted.. there is still plenty of time until October and it would be annoying to have to wait.."

Everyone evidently brightens at this "really?" Asked Lee  " yeah sure!" With that Everyone went to sleep.

9 Days Until October 10th 

CHAPTER 2

 Third person pov

Naruto woke up early he quickly started breakfast and not long after everyone woke up then they all departed, they would meet back here at 12:40 pm to receive the first clue.

Naruto pov

As soon as we spilt up I ran to the Ramen shop and told (name of owner here) what I was doing he was worried at first but after a little persuading he agreed to help, he would be the first stop on the hunt.

Third person Pov

Everyone met up at the set time and was ready for the first clue  Naruto told us that each clue was on a scroll that certain people had in their care, they wouldn't open until the day after at 7:00 Am and he told us if anyone figured it out before the 10th of October then to come to him and check it but not to tell the others . He also said how this would also be a team exercise since they would need to work together to Finnish.The first clue would be easy and related to him since they liked lots of the same things.

Sakura Pov

(Urgh this is so annoying having to listen to naruto baka but I need to knoe who this person is! Besides Sasuke-kun is doing it!)

Sasuke Pov

 (Hn Naruto says the junjunki is alot like jim who could it be?)

Third person pov 

Naruto jolts everyone out of thinking as he hands them the scroll "the places you go will also have clues incase you don't want to wait" and with that the scroll popped open

 *A favorite food both mine and his 

This man will serve us daily go to his shop and ask for the scroll*

 Sasuke shouts out "RAMEN!" But Shinrakumou figures it out "(name of place)"

And they all set off

Once they reach the Ramen shop Sasuke sees that the curtains have been switched to a blue color. Neji runs to the counter and asks for the scroll from Naruto (name of man) hands it over and reminds them "don't forget it won't open until tomorrow at 7:00 Am!"

Neji and the others groan they would have to wait until tomorrow to get the next clue they all agree that until they are finished the hint someone should hold onto the scrolls hinata is nominated to take care of them so she carefully tucks the scroll into her new bag wich she bought just so that someone could have the scrolls in it and they part ways until tomorrow.
