What does the term "Singing"mean?

Well singing isn't just hitting high notes and all that stuff.
It is also about enjoying what you're doing.
People usually sing for the admiration from other people.

You could also make tons of money from it but I tell you, if you don't enjoy it, don't do it.
Try to create interests for it if you can though.

So what is a song anyway?

The word "song" may have long dictionary definitions but that doesn't mean that songs can't be described in shorter terms.
Basically, a song is just a bunch of words that rhyme or tell a story about something.
It may also be composed of a little bit of both.

I'm not saying if you hate singing you should give up though.

Ok. Maybe that was exactly what I was saying earlier but I just wanted to affirm you that you shouldn't hate something just because you can't do it.
You should at least try and if you can't do it, you can practice.

How did Lionel Messi become a soccer player?

By sketching pictorial representations of a soccer ball?
By watching three hours of soccer on TV every day?
By playing FIFA 5?

No!!!

He actually had to practice to get to the current position he is at right now.
He didn't just just practice.
He had practiced with dedication and years of optimism along with plenty of hope.

I could give plenty of examples but I am sure you had understood what I just said.
Most people think you need to be naturally talented to become a singer, let alone, have a good voice.
The truth is, you don't. You just need to train yourself on how to stay on the same note for a while, enjoy singing and last but not least, hit high notes.

People may have discouraged you earlier but you just have to fight through; get going they say.

You may suck but if you don't believe in yourself then who would(maybe your best friend but I'm trying to give you some confidence about yourself).

You mustn't give up because your voice cracks all the time. Just fight through and continue through your journey.
