It was time for Laila to find her a mate.
When she is sing her heart song. They were other males singing their heart songs to her seeing if their is a if they win her heart. Laila then look behind her to see Seymour. "Don't push me cause I'm close to the edge, I'm trying not to lose my head." Seymour sangs his heart song to Laila. Then Laila sang his song out to him, he was her mate that she was looking for. Then Seymour sang her song towards her. They closer and closer to each other singing each other songs. When they were close enough they sang their last bits of their song and rub their beaks with each other. When Laila saw her brother Mumble he and Gloria where dancing and Singing with some adelie. Laila smiles that mumble finds. She and Seymour dance and sang along to their song with everybody else.
But then the leader Noah and the other Elders came and told them to stop. The said this to Mumble. "You Mumble Happy Feet must go." Then Laila and her mother came over to them. "Don't you take one step sweet heart. You have as much right to be here as any of these daffy old fools." Norma Jean told her son. "She's right mumble." Laila said to her brother with Seymour right behind her. The Elders gasped on what they said about them. "Norma Jean, Laila I will deal with this." Memphis said to his wife and daughter, as he went towards his son. "Pa." Mumble said to his dad. "Mumble, you must renounce your so called freinds your peculiar thoughts, your strange ways." Memphis said to his son. Shock him and Norma Jean Laila and Seymour. "Memphis/Dad." Norma Jean and Laila said in disbelief. At Memphis is saying.
"If we are devout sincere in our praise, the fish will return." Memphis says to Mumble ignoring both of his wife and Daughter. "But Pa." Mumble tries to say something but he was interrupted by his dad. "Listen boy, I was backslider myself. I was careless and now we're paying the price." Memphis says.
"What this got to do with Mumble." Norma Jean said to Memphis in confusion. "It's why he is the way he is." Memphis said in guilt. "But pa there's nothing wrong with him." Laila says out to her dad. "Face it, he's all messed up." Memphis said panting. "He's not messed up, you hear me." Norma Jean said getting angry. "Believe me, I know." Memphis said turning to his wife and daughter. "How could you say that." Laila gasped out in anger to her dad. Not believing what he is saying.
"Because when he was just an egg, I dropped him." Memphis shouted out the truth. The whole colonel gasp at this. "Memphis/Pa." Both Norma Jean and Laila gasped at him. Memphis looked away from them in guilt. "Oh, my poor little Mumble." Norma Jean said to her son. "Ma, I am perfectly fine." Mumble told his mama.
"No, no, your not, boy." Memphis said to his son. "Shut up, pa." Laila snaps at her dad, Seymour was compared her,trying to calm her down. "He's right." Noah said agreeing with Memphis. For all of our sakes, you must stopped with the feet." Memphis told his son. "Your father speaks wisely. His suffering heart and repent." Noah said to Mumble.Laila had tears in her eyes as she hugs Seymour. "Then your arrogance leaves us no choice." Noah said to Mumble. "No, wait." Both Norma Jean and Laila cried out, their hearts was breaking.
"Please son, you can do this. It ain't so hard." Memphis begging Mumble. "Don't aske me to change pa, because I can't." Mumble said to dad. "And that, my berden, is the end of it. You be gone." Noah said to Mumble telling him he is not welcome. "Mumble." Norma Jean and Laila cried out to Mumble.
"No Ma Laila it's okay." Mumble told them sadly, then he looked at the elders and Noah with a glare and told them. When I find the fish I will be back. As he was leaving with the adelie's. When mumble was out of the colonel. Noah called out to everyone "Together, we prevail, in the wisdom, We trust."
"We trust." Memphis said sadly on what just happened. Norma jean went over to Laila who was crying with Seymour with her and saying that Mumble will come back. Norma Jean then give her daughter a hug.
