My Only Soulmate (Jihancheol)

Chapter 1

K University. Start of a new semester.

Joshua getting ready early for his morning class. He's been looking forward to meeting with his friends after almost 3 weeks of semester break. He's checking himself in the mirror for the last time before grabbing his backpack and walking out of his apartment. He pushed the B button where he parked his car there. Today he feels like driving his red sports car and then he drives the car out from his apartment complex.

Today he had the economy class. As soon as he entered the lecture hall, people started to turn their heads towards Joshua and murmur in admiration. It's because Joshua radiates some kind of magical aura and his beautiful eyes spark brightly that not only girls but also boys find it hard to resist. His lips curl into a sweet smile when he spots his best friend Minghao.

"Hey man, long time no see," said Josua while fist-bumped with Minghao.

"Did you miss me?" asked Minghao, to which Joshua immediately nodded "of course. The breaks were no fun without you. Did you have a great time with your mum?" They both didn't contact each other while on semester breaks because Joshua knew Minghao was going back to China to spend time with his family.

"Yeah, we went to travel.. you know, family bonding kind of stuff. My mum said you should come and visit her sometimes." Joshua chuckled a little. He knew Aunt Xu since he started becoming a closer friend with Xu Minghao in high school. They both went to the same boarding school in Seoul. As a foreigner at school, they both clicked very well and always had each other back.

Just as they both started to get into a deeper conversation, it was held back because of the sudden commotion by the girls in the lecture halls. Joshua's eyes trail according to the source of the commotion. There, at the entry door stood the unfamiliar slim and slender figure with beautiful brown hair. He runs his finger through his hair and scans throughout the hall. Today's class is quite packed with the students since it is a compulsory subject. His eyes made contact with Joshua for a few seconds before he broke it away looking for an empty seat.

Joshua overheard the girls who sat in front of him and Minghao. Oh my god. That must be the new transfer guy from S University.

Yeah, I heard he's quite a troublemaker from my friends there. So, maybe that's why he's transferring here. But with that look, I don't mind him troubling my heart. *Giggling*

Joshua let out a small sigh. He especially hates it when people assume without actually knowing the facts. That's why no matter how many big impressions he has made among his course mates, he finds it difficult to trust people.

Minghao softly pats Joshua's back and leans closer to him. "Ouuuhh..looks like you have a new competitor. He's kinda hot" Minghao said, teasing his friend. Joshua just shrugs it off "I don't even care" and continues to look into his phone while Minghao giggles softly.

Joshua Hong is known as the Prince in their Department. He was voted as the most Charming Visual for 2 years in a row during the University carnival. He doesn't even participate and attend the carnivals. He rather spent his time at the library or hanging out with Minghao at the coffee shops.

The lecturer then came in and started her class.

After 3 hours the lecture ended, both Joshua and Minghao did not have any other class for the rest of the day. They decided to grab some lunch at the cafeteria. It's been so long and they miss the cafeteria food so much. Their uni had the best cafeteria food as compared to the other as it is on the same quality level as the 5 stars hotel.

Minghao got Omurice while Josua is having a salmon steak with butter and lemon sauce. Just as they get near the table at the corner with a huge glass wall, a group of men pass through them harshly and conquer that table. There's a disbelief expression on Minghao's face. He wanted to approach those rude men but Joshua stopped him.
