My Only Soulmate (Jihancheol)

Chapter 2

Seungcheol noticed the worried expression on Minghao's face. Minghao then quickly dashed out from the cafeteria. Seungcheol decided to quickly follow that tall skinny boy. He not sure why but his gut feeling felt that something was not right. Maybe something happened to his friend. He hoped that will just be his feeling.

Both of them were in shock as they saw 2 bodies lying unconsciously on the toilet's floor. Minghao quickly reached out to Joshua. Seungcheol also wanted to help. He tries not to get as panicked as Minghao.

"Let's take them to the University's infirmary first." said Seungcheol to Minghao. The latter nodded and Seungcheol wanted to help get the unconscious Joshua on Minghao's back, but as he touched Joshua's arm, a weird sensation grew from within his chest. The cold sweat started emerging on his forehead and then came the unspeakable pain that clenched his heart tight. His stance becomes unbalanced and he suddenly collapses as well.

Jeonghan slowly opened his eyes, but the striking light from the ceiling blurred his vision. He looked around and the place seemed unfamiliar. He tried to recall his fuzzy memories. He touched his chest where it was so painful before, that he thought he might die. Now the pain has gone he wonders what caused the pain. 'What happened to me? And where am I now?' said Jeonghan internally and he saw a group of people gathered at the bed next to his.

"Hey, this dude just woke up," said a tall, tan with a muscular arm. Everyone there shifts their attention to him. Jeonghan flustered a little bit as 5 pairs of eyes stared at him.

"Where am I now?" asked Jeonghan. He saw the blond guy who was with him in the toilet was also there resting on the bed. "Don't worry. You are at the hospital now. Luckily there's Minghao. He called the ambulance." said another tall guy with fair and defined cheekbones. Jeonghan turned to his right side and saw another guy with black hair around his age, lying comfortably.

"I'm Minghao and this is my best friend Joshua. We saw you earlier in the class, right?" he asked. "Yeah I guess so. I'm Jeonghan. I just transferred here." he didn't really notice Minghao in the class as his attention was only fixed on Joshua as he stand out so much in the lecture hall.

"I'm Mingyu and this Jun and the one next to you is Seungcheol. We're from the Sport Science Department" said Mingyu. Jeongan nodded at the brief introduction. Just on his first day, there are so many things happening already and he still has no idea why the 3 of them are being warded at the hospital.

"Did you feel the pain too? In your chest and difficult to breathe?" asked Joshua to Jeonghan. "Yeah, my chest feels so tight. It's hard to breathe and very painful. The next thing I know I'm here at the hospital. What did the doctor say?" asked Jeonghan. Jun moves closer to Jeonghan bed. "The doctor said that the 3 of you were just fine. There's nothing serious. So, you don't have to worry. You can discharge once your dizziness gone." Jeonghan felt relief upon hearing that. "What exactly happened with you two? Minghao and I were shocked when we saw you two faint in the toilet." Seungcheol finally joined the conversation.
