Everyone got up and walked out "Azalea what class do you have?" Blaise asked. "I think I have..," Azalea grabbed her time table out of pocket "DADA?" Azalea says in confusion "Oh yeah that's Defense Against the Dark arts." Blaise says.
"I have that class to." Pansy says. Azalea, Blaise and Pansy all walk to the DADA classroom in. They all finally made it all to the classroom it was loud, "Sheesh, I was expecting this class to be smaller to be honest." Azalea looks at the class.
AZALEAS POV
The class was really noisy I enjoyed I fucking hated it when it's quiet, it just makes me awkward. Me and Pansy and Blaise started chatting about the most random things.
Until Juno came walking in with a tall blonde haired girl and a short brunette girl "Azalea, this Kai and Leo." Juno introduced them to me "Kai? Isn't that a guys name?" I say "Yeah it is, but I'm a transgender and I go by they/them pronouns." Kai corrects me. I nod "I'm Leo and I go by they/them pronouns to." Leo says "Oo okay!" I said.
Everyone settle down as the Professor came in, he had messy hair and large scars on his face. How the fuck did he get those scars? Manz must of went through a lot of pain. I shrugged "Okay everyone settle down and sit in your seats." He says "Azalea come and sit next to me." Juno says I walk over and sit next to her. "Today we have a new transfer, please introduce yourself." The Professor looks at me.
As I stand up everyone turns there head, "I'm Azalea Hawthorne you probably saw me in the great hall, I transferred from Ilvermony." I say awkwardly, I sit back down awkwardly.
"Thank you Miss Hawthorne, anyways can some tell me what a jinx is?" The Professor asked "That's Professor Lupin," Juno turned her head and whispered to me. "People say the scars on his face, say he was scratched by a werewolf because every full moon he disappears." Juno whispered. "Wow." I whisper back, I was pretty amazed by it.
"So nobody is going to tell me what a jinx is?" The class didn't raise there hand or speak. Professor Lupin face palmed "40 points go to the house if they get it right." He says, a few peoples hands rose up and so did mine.
"Miss Hawthorne." Lupin pointed his index finger at me waiting for my answer "a jinx was a type of dark charm, whose effects are irritating but amusing. Jinxes could also be used in a defensive capacity such as, the knock back jinx and impediment jinx." I say proudly.
"Correct! 40 points to Slytherin." The Professor says.
AFTER CLASS
To be honest I kinda enjoyed DADA even though it was my first class of today. I check my time-table and see I have a free period. "Hey Azalea me and the girls are gonna skip class wanna join?" Pansy says.
"Yess" I say excitedly, "let me introduce you to everyone." She walks to the group of girls, "everyone shut the fuck up, this Azalea Hawthorne the one from the great hall." Pansy introduced me to them.
"That's Ivory Vesper, Theodora Myers, Daphne Greengrass, Astoria Greengrass and Lana Myers." Pansy introduced them all.
"So should we go to the muggle world or Hogsmeade?" Lana asked "Ew.. not the muggle world it's full of filthy mudbloods." Astoria spoke in a disgust way, "Agreed." Pansy and Theodora say in unison. I had a confused look in my face, "Sorry but, what is a mudblood?" I question.
"Mudblood is just a slur for muggles." Theodora laughs, "oh." I mouth. "Anyways let's just go to Hogsmeade." Ivory face palms.
"But how are we gonna get there? It's a long walk." Daphne spoke, "brooms?" Lana asked "Lana.. half of us don't do quidditch." Astoria face palmed everybody started arguing
