Ok, so i have uploaded this story again, just to make it a lot easier to read. First of all, thanks for viewing my story, even if you don't intend to read it because then at least i know it might sound interesting. Second, sorry for the amount of mistake, there are too many to correct and spell checker is not what it used to be. Thirdly, please don't be offended by any of the content of my book, the characters are completely fictional and not based on anyone at all. Fourthly (?), i haven't tried to copy another book, i just thought i'd have a go at writing in this style. AND LASTLY *Gasp*, thankyou for reading, hope you enjoy it :)

New year's resolutions:

Learn a new word everyday and use it to impressive people

Finally get a boyfriend

Grow two inches taller so I'll be as tall as Stevie Myers

Die my hair a different colour

Be 16!

So these are my new years resolutions, they also happen to be the ones I have every year but never seem to manage. Well, I guess some of them couldn't have really been done when I was 12, just setting out in high school. I mean, Stevie is one of the coolest guys in school with his mate Jordan 'the' king being 1st but he's only interested in seeing how far he can get with girls. I think me, my friends Sean and Myra might be the only people he hasn't tried it with, well, obviously the boys as well.

About the learning a new word thing, I've always loved English and that's not only because I sit two places away from Stevie but I actually enjoy the English language, oh, except from Shakespeare, can't stand it. (Even though he's practically the creator of English)

Now, dyeing my hair a different colour, I've always wanted to be a brunette but I'm stuck with being ginger though I have nothing against ginger hair, it's just, Stevie likes Brunettes. It's pretty weird actually because my mum and dad are both brunettes. Also, it's so annoying because Sean is blonde though he detests it and Myra has natural brown hair, that's partly why I made friends with her in the first place.

As for the whole, wanting to be sixteen thing, I just want a little bit of freedom and mum said that she would let me go places by myself when I'm older. For now, I'm still only 13 in year nine, three years away from being sixteen! Don't ask why I still keep putting that as my new years resolution, just I've kept it since I was 7 and it would seem a shame to break a tradition that's lasted over half of my life.

1.00pm:

Woke up after partying all night. Well, I say party but I actually mean sitting in my room using some of my stuff I got for christmas then going hyper on Haribo and coco cola. Whilst this was happening, my parents were down stairs getting drunk on wine and playing twister with the neighbours, Sally and Bill.

Incase you were wondering why I was upstairs instead of partying, it's because of my little sister Ruby who is quite a little madam for a 9 year old. As the responsible older sister I am, I had to play 'Hungry Hippos' with her, and then watch her do her winner's dance in my face. It's not that I suck that much that a 9 year old can beat me at a non skill involved game, I let her win, because I'm the kind big sister.

Then there's the Haribo and the coco cola. I got loads of packs of Haribo from my auntie Clara for Christmas as she works in a sweet factory and I'm not allowed to drink alcohol. Not even shandy because mum says 'don't start drinking at your age Helen, alcohol is for adults'. She might say this but I know for a fact that she was arrested for binge drinking outside Tesco at the age of twelve, luckily, she didn't get any charges but I'm not even allowed to LOOK at a bottle of wine in Tesco because they think i'm just like my mum, don't worry though, I'm not.
