February
Friday 1st:
Ah February, one of my favourite months of the year, not because it's Valentine's month or anything...
Anyway, Austin Powers dress up, exactly as I thought. Sean dressed up as Dr Evil, Myra dressed up a Foxy, Evan dressed up as Austin and all the rest of the boys dressed up as fat bastard. It was quite good fun though because this kid in year seven who was mini me, got really freaked out by Sean's outfit. It was more lady Gaga than Dr Evil.
That was certainly not the highlight of my day though, the best bit was by far art club. We had to continue with our portraits from art lesson. It was a little hard for Myra considering Sean wasn't there so I said that I would start again so Evan could continue drawing me, I could draw Myra and she could Evan. Mt last drawing of Evan was going rather badly so I didn't want to continue and insult him further. It was a great lunch time though, Evan finished the portrait of me and it looks absolutely amazing! He so has to be an artist when he is older, I wouldn't want his talent to go to waste. I said this to him but he said drawing me was not a waste, awww!
Saturday 2nd:
Went to see Evan today. It was really good because we finished planning our half term break which is only a week away, wooh! Here is the plan:
Saturday: Shopping for Valentine's presents with friends
Sunday: Art Gallery
Monday: Park
Tuesday: Cinema
Wednesday: Go to Evan's
Thursday: Beach
Friday: Come to mine
Saturday: City
I'm really looking forward to Thursday
Sunday 3rd:
I finished reading Wuthering Heights today, woop woop! It's quite good actually considering it's over 200 pages and I haven't taken that long to read it. The ending was quite sad (of course i'm not going to tell you what happens). It made me cry a little for Heathcliff but it's still a great book. It's on my list of top 100 books at 92. I can't really mark it high because of the vocabulary used but it has a good plot. I shall start my new book tomorrow.
Monday 4th:
I have started reading a new book. I had a look through my mum's bookcase and I saw a dusty Jane Eyre. I thought it would be a good read because i'm in to the Bronte sisters at the moment. Jane Eyre is supposed to be the best out of the most famous Bronte books but Emily's Wuthering Heights is good and Agnes Gray by Anne looks alright.
4.00pm:
Thought I would be so great if me and Ruby had a novel collection. I can see it now 'The Troy sisters' hitting the shelves in stores near you. The only thing is, age difference. By the time Ruby has finished university i'd be... 26! I'll feel s old. I'll have to convince her to take up her writing career early.
5.00pm:
Went in to Ruby's room and put the idea forward to her. She wasn't that keen on becoming an author. She wants to be a vet. I tried my best I suppose. Geography trip tomorrow.
Tuesday 5th:
The Geography trip was great. We had to go in a river, which I forgot the name of; measured the river width and all that. We had to go in groups of five so we had Layla from Drama in our group.
