The next morning
Jeno woke up at the sound of his alarm clock great it was a school day and it was HELL week *coughs* I mean Exam week. He wasn't really worried about Exam week but he is worried especially since Jaemin isn't in the best situation he is in. He felt bad for the younger but he wants to make sure that Jaemin will feel fine even in these kinds of moments. He saw Jaemin smiling at him awake playing with his hair.
"Jaemin I know you're not feeling well but if you don't want to go to school it's okay I can inform them that-" Jeno was cut off by Jaemin saying
"Don't worry Nono I'll go to school since I want to keep the promise my mom asked and I know she will be upset if I didn't stay strong for myself."
"But Baby are you sure I don't want to force you or anything."
"I'm fine Jeno besides I don't want to miss a school day I might end up with a ton of work yes I'm still sad but I will still make her happy no matter where she is and that's by keeping the promise she wanted me to keep."
"I'm proud of you Baby let's get ready," Jeno said but he heard some chattering downstairs his parents were here he didn't bother however what will their impression of Jaemin be Jeno led Jaemin downstairs and saw his parents in the dining room.
"Hello, Jeno how are you." Jeno's dad say and notice Jaemin standing behind Jeno
"Hi, Jeno oh hello and may I ask who are you."
"He's the person I'm dating mom," Jeno said
"Oh lovely you look so adorable wait your Na Junhana's and Kim Jooheon son Jaemin it's nice seeing you." Jeno's mom hugged Jaemin tightly Jeno's mom and Jaemin's mom are friends in high school back in their days.
"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Lee nice seeing you too," Jaemin said with a smile
"Oh my gosh Jeno you can kill me for all I care but you better keep this angel cause if you don't I'm disowning you for real and Jaemin sweetheart tell us if Jeno's been bad."
Jeno just rolled his eyes playfully and Jaemin nodded his head with a cute smile on his face.
"Come on now let's eat the food that is already prepared. Jaemin help yourself first will just tell something to Jeno it's about the helpers here in the house."Jeno's dad said Jaemin followed at his statement and patiently waited there
"Jeno right now your dad's business in the restaurant isn't making that much money like it usually does that's why we decided to let go of all of the staff that work here in the house except for our driver and we had to let go all of the real estates we own but this house isn't included so I hope you understand."Jeno's mom said
"Don't worry Mom I understand you can cut my monthly allowance if you have to."
"No Jeno we don't have to do that we're just telling you so you know."Jeno's dad said and He just hugged them while nodding and he mouthed to them that "everything's going to be okay." Family hug
They all went back and saw Jaemin waiting for them.
"Oh Jaemin why didn't you start eating."Jeno's mom asked
"Oh, I decided to wait for you Mrs.Lee I thought it would be rude if I didn't wait for you guys," Jaemin said with a smile
"How polite of you Jaemin just call us Uncle and Auntie well dig in." Jeno's dad said and they all digged in
"Jaemin Hunny I heard what happen to your mother I'm sorry you can stay with us for now since I don't want you to be alone at your house."Jeno's mom said while her voice became sad since she was really good friends with Jaemin's mom.
"Oh I thank you, Mrs. Lee, I mean Auntie but I might disturb you guys-"Jaemin was cut off with Jeno's dad talking
"No, you won't Jaemin ah besides we're going to be your in-laws." Jeno's dad said making Jaemin choke in his food and Jeno's mom and Jeno chuckle
"I are you sure?" Jaemin said while trying to call himself and drink water to stop himself from choking again
"Yes, Baby I'm sure besides I'd love to have you here we have an extra room," Jeno said while Jaemin nodded
"Thank you, Auntie and Uncle, for letting me stay," Jaemin said while finishing his food
"No problem you guys should get going and once you guys come back we could probably go to the house and grab your things Jaemin since your Mom's landlord who owns the house is under arrest since those houses were actually in debt and he wasn't investing the money on his business but illegal medications." Everyone was shocked but either way, Jaemin knew something was sketchy with that man.
"Anyways I and Jaemin will get ready and go to school bye mom and dad."
"Bye Jeno and Jaemin take care." Jeno's dad said
Jeno and Jaemin got ready and headed to school...
Jaemin and Jeno finally arrived at school and went to their separate classes it was a hectic day.
The teachers were giving out the coverages for what lessons they have to study because they are in college they have to take up courses Jaemin is taking the course medical technology. While Jeno is taking Financial Management
Jeno was waiting for Jaemin at Jaemin's locker when he saw Jaemin walking to his locker without even sparing a glance at him probably cause he was to focus on the book he was reading when Jaemin opens his locker to put back most of his things and go to lunch he realized someone was next to him it was Jeno.
"Wow, you didn't even spare a glance at me," Jeno said while pouting
" I am sorry Nono it's just that I was kind of focused on this book.." Jaemin said while putting the book away.
"So the book is more important than me."
"I never said that I'm sorry Nono, "Jaemin said and Kissed Jeno on the cheek which satisfied Jeno
"Okay, let's go the others are already in our hangout spot."
"Hi Jaemin"
"Hi Jeno"
"Hey guys" the group greeted them
"I know it's sudden but are you ok Jaemin how is your mom since there was news last night that there were serial killers on losing and it affected the people living in Japan," Renjun asked
"Oh, well unfortunately my mom is in a better place now, "Jaemin said in a sad voice
"Oh my gosh, Jaemin I'm sorry I shouldn't have to ask I'm sorry," Renjun said while hugging Jaemin
"It's okay." Everyone decided to comfort Jaemin and Chenle said
"GROUP HUG YEOROBUN" and they all hugged each other forming a big group hug and reassured Jaemin that everything will be okay and they will always be here for him since that's what friends are for.
The day ended Jaemin and Jeno went to Home and Jaemin saw all of his things moved into one of Jeno's house's spare rooms it's so amazing and cozy Jeno was happy to see Jaemin happy. Jeno decided to let Jaemin have alone time as he has to study for the exams to pass Jaemin on the other hand got a text from his cousin Jaehyun Hyung

Jaeminie I heard about what happened to Aunty I'm sorry we are going to go to Japan since Auntie's funeral will be held here are already we will have to fly out around Friday night I heard you're staying with Jeno and your birthday is coming up Auntie left something to Mrs.Lee and she will accompany you to that place where you will be getting your gift anyways see you soon Minnie will stay there for 4 days and we got you to excuse letters don't worry your teacher said your excelling Bye ttyl <3
