I was woken up today by the sun shining on my bed, it's been a few months since we imprisoned Emily and her gang in their lair, they still refuse to give us up anyway. I left the house and went straight to the gate to go to check on Emily's gang, I greeted a few more on the way furs greeted me with a smile before Matthew stopped me

Matthew: Hi Markus, I'm glad I found you, we'll need you for the meeting

Markus: Do you think about the newcomers?

Matthew: Exactly, we thought that if you brought them in, you could listen to them with us

Markus: Okay, but I hope it doesn't take long

we went to the church together, there was already a small group inside, our new guests were 

already standing in front of a long table, I sat down with Nayley and Julie, Monica

Markus: please, I need it to be fast, I still have some work to do

Monica: Okay, let's speed it up, Affer please approach

Affer got up and introduced himself to us

Affer: my name is Affer, before this apocalypse I was a messenger with a pizza, I found my friends on the way to the capital where I was looking for parents, unfortunately they were already dead, I have experience with the infected and I'm not afraid of them

Markus: Another one, please

Millie: my name is Millie, I helped my dad at the shooting range so I have a lot of experience with weapons, give me the guns and I'll hit every target

Nayley: Well, next

Rikki: My name is Rikki, you don't need to know anything more

Affer: Damn Rikki, we talked about this

Rikki: Fiiine, I came from Virginia, I had to kill a lot of living and dead along the way

Markus: What was your job before all this started?

Rikki: I was a Marine

I looked at her again

Markus: I don't believe what you're saying, I want to hear the truth, you're not a Marine, now I want to hear the truth

Rikki:  I'm not talking to you Human

I got up from my vein, walked over to her, took her hand, turned her over, and bent over the table, ripped off her shirt, and revealed a tattoo.

Markus: this tattoo is from prison, I bet thanks to this apocalypse you were able to escape, the 

clothes you are wearing you must have stolen from a human marine that's why it's so torn, it's too small for you

Rikki: Okay, okay, get off me

I let her go and Rikki tried to jump at me but at the last moment I dodged and she fell to the ground

Markus: Well, if that's all, I still have a job

I walked past the crowd and went straight to the gate where Robin was already waiting for me

Robin: Hi Markus, I've been waiting for you, so I don't forget this came in today's caravan

Robin threw me a small bag, I opened it and found a small gold ring in it, I smiled
