Sonadow : Love will Never Die

Chapter 17 : FINALLY!!!!!

Shadow's POV

Me and Sonic are  alone face to face. Now I can finally find out if Sonic loves me too. His face is so beautiful and perfect.

"What do you want to talk to me about Shadow?"

"Well....here it goes..."

"Sonic...remember when I said that I love you while I was fighting with my father?"

Sonic blushed when he remember that moment which is cute. He slowly nodded his head yes. I took Sonic's hands in mine and now I'm.blushing too.

"I was just wondering.....if...you...love me too."

Sonic's cheeks are as red as a tomato. I hope he says yes. If he doesn't then I'm okay with that. As long as I'm with him boyfriend or not I'm fine either way. Sonic took a deep breath.

"Shadow...yes...I love you too."

Did he just  say YES?! He loves me the same way?! I can't believe it.  I was blushing very red now! I must be dreaming!

We were looking in each others eyes. Then I put my hand on Sonic's right cheek who put his arms around his neck. We pulled our lips together to a kiss. Sonic's lips taste very sweet...like strawberries. After three minutes we pulled away to get some air. Sonic looked at my eyes again smiling still blushing while I smiled back. Then I heard a giggle coming from the door that leads out of tge waiting room. We turned around to see AMY PEEKING OUT OF THE DOOR HAVING A NOSE BLEED?! OMG! DID SHE OVERHEARD ME AND SONIC'S CONVERSATION AND SAW US KISSING?! Sonic looked embarrassed to let see Amy saw our romantic moment.

"AMY! Haven't we have this conversation befor?!"

Amy took out a napkin from one of her pockets to wipe away her nosebleed.

"Sorry you guys. I was just wanna told you that the docter said that Shade is alive and you can see him now."

Me and Sonic both sighed with relief.

"Thank goodness."

"Lets go Sonic."

My fingers interlock with his and we're now holding hands. We smiled at each other and we left the waiting room to see Shade.

In the hospital room where Shade is

We walked through the hallway to find room 55. We found the room and a nurse walked out of the room and turned to me and Sonic.

"Is one of you Shade's owner?"

"I am... how is he doing?"

"He's alright...but..."

"But what?"

"Shade have very severe injuries in many parts in his body so....he wouldn't fly for eight months and he can't go inside for a year and he only has to eat 2 times a day.

Me and Sonic felt very sad for Shade. He was just an innocent chao...MY chao. And he doesn't even deserve all of this happening to him. He loves to eat a lot of food and fly around the castle and though the garden being free. I can see Sonic having a few tears coming out. I wiped away his tears and hugged him while he hugged back. The nurse feels sad too seeing how we feel.

"I'm so sorry you guys...would you guys wanna see Shade now."

Sonic pulled away from our hug.

"Yes we would."

"Okay...and Shade would have to stay in the hospital for two days but don't worry we would take care of him."

"Okay thank you."

The nurse walked away out of the hallways. I opened the door to see Shade sleeping peacefully in the hospital bed covered with bandages and wires attached to Shade's chest. We both grabbed one chair each for us and we put them close to the bed. Shade looks like a mummy being covered in those bandages. Then suddenly I heard Sonic sobbing having tears streaming from his eyes. I tried to comfort him by hugging him.

"Sonic what's wrong?"

"I'm so sorry that all of this happened to you. You had to kill your own father and you almost lost your chao. And I feel that it's all my fault."

"It's not your fault Sonic...it's that monster's fault. You didn't do anything wrong."

Sonic hugged back tightly with his head on my chest fur.

"Chao..."

Me and Sonic pulled away from the hug and turned around to see Shade opening his eyes and looked at us with a small smile. Sonic smiled back and softly petted his head.

"Glad to see your okay Shade."

"Why did you risk you're life for me Shade? I don't wanna lose you like that."

Shade looked sad thinking I was mad at him.

"Don't be sad Shade I'm not mad at mad at you. I was just worried about you."

I leaned to Shade's head and kissed his forehead. Shade smiled and licked my chin which tickled me a little. Sonic smiled at the happy moment.

"Okay Shade you'll be staying here for two days and we would give you the foods you want. Is there anything else you need?"

Shade shaked his no.

"Alright bye Shade."

Shade waved goodbye and went back to sleep. We hold each other hands and walked out of the room to get back to the others so they can go back home.
