"Im gonna love ya
Until you hate me!
And I'm gonna show ya
What's really crazy"We were singing in the bus. Not just Black Widow, but all these other songs by Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, Miley Cyrus, Jason Derulo, all these awesome artists! It was fun, but sad at the same time. It was the bus ride back from the last day at Creative Connections drama.
"Man, I'mma miss Creative Connections," says my friend Azaria.
"Me too," I say.
"Well, at least we get to have fun with High School Musical," my friend Sarah says.
The local theater near my school is doing High School Musical, and I got the part Ryan. I'm so excited!! 😄
"Oh yeah!!! I can't wait for that!! It's only a couple more weeks until the first week of performing!!!"
"And, Sam..........." my friend Tiara says, in a girly way, like she's about to say something lovey-dovy, which she is, "that isn't the only good thing. Now that you have HIS Instagram, you can talk to him."
"Who's?" I ask, smiling behind my hand. I definitely know who she's talking about. I'm freakin blushing for crying out loud!
"Oh, I think you know who," says Azaria.
"You know me too well." I laugh.
"So, are you going 2 message him?" asks Sarah.
"Well, yeah, but I don't know what to say. Im Probably going to say like, 'hey, what's up?' Or something like that, but I don't wanna sound just casual. I wanna kind of give a hint to him that I like him, but I don't wanna sound desperate."
"So, what are you going to say?"
"I don't know." I try to change the subject. "So, who else is excited for High School Musical?"
Everyone was like "oh yes!!!!" and stuff.
"So, have you been working on your cheers?" I ask Tiara. She plays the head cheerleader in High School Musical. I've seen their cheers for it, and they're REALLY good! I'm excited to see the whole thing with all the costumes and lighting!
"You know I have!" She answers. "You know, I'm kind of scared of the show, though, considering how it's going."
Sarah's eyes widen. "I can SOO see your point!!"
Ok, I'll explain this. Most of the people who auditioned and got in, don't take it seriously. The only people who really work hard on it, are me, Tiara, Sarah, Azaria, our Kelsi, our Troy, and only a fraction of the ensemble members. And, we were supposed to know All our dances two weeks ago!!! We weren't able to learn them because people keep on talking and the choreographer has to tell them to be quiet so she can teach the dances. So, it's almost tech week, and we don't even know everything.
"But James is probably the first person you think of when you think about how bad High School Musical is coming along," I say.
"Yes!" Azaria exclaims. "It seems like he's TRYING to distract people! Remember last practice?"
"I can't believe he tried to get people to go with him in the MIDDLE OF PRACTICE to go to Burger King across the street!" says Tiara. "I mean, it feels like it's his GOAL to make the show turn out bad! I swear, next time I see him, I'mma beat the HELL out of him!"
I turn to Sarah, who's sitting behind me, and whisper to her, "Remind me to try to keep James and Tiara away from each other." She laughs.
I turn over to Kara, who's sitting in the back seat in the bus, smiling and blushing. She my best friend. We've been hanging out since 6th grade and we've told each other everything. She's like my sister.
"So..... Kara," I ask, "Whacha blushing 'bout?"
"Nothing......" she says, sheepishly.
"Oh, come on, you can tell us."
"Just some guy," she says smiling and blushing. She was turning so red from all that blushing, that it seamed like she was becoming a strawberry. You know, like the girl that turned into a blueberry on Willy Wonka. I couldn't tell if it was blushing, or constipation.
"Awww, who is it?"
You can tell that it's hard for her to answer. But you can also tell that a part of her wants to tell us. "His name's Ky." she says.
"You have his number?" asks Tiara.
"I have his kik. He doesn't have a phone. Only an iPod."
We finally got back to school and I get out of the bus and walk home. I get out my iPod and go to Instagram.
