I ran right towards the dresser and rammed into it. Apparently, it was really light, and I ended up putting a dent in it and the wall. I don't know how I didn't notice with my dresser.
"Oh, shit," I said.
"What the hell was that?" asked Jacob. At first I looked at him like, "really?" but then i remembered that he didn't see any of it, so I had to explain.
"Oh, man. Thanks," he said, "but did you really need to slam the dresser against the wall?"
"I had no idea it was that light."
"Oh." He started shaking the dresser. "Damn, that's lighter than I thought."
"Right?" Thank god I wasn't the only person who though it was heavier than it really was.
He started putting his clothes away again.
"So, do u know when we're going to go to the introduction ceremony?" he asked.
"I think in about an hour."

For the rest of that hour, me and Jacob talked and talked and got to know each other. I told him about all the different plays and musicals I've been in, High School Musical coming up, my old boyfriends, and all this stuff, while he told me about the plays and musicals he's been in, his school, his home, and we really got to know each other.

After about an hour had passed, the lady who told us how to get to our rooms knocked on the door.
"It's time for the introduction ceremony," she said.
"Ok," said Jacob. "We'll be right there." She left.
"Wait," I say, "do we need to bring anything?"
"Hell, I don't know. I guess we'll find out."

We went down to the auditorium. I would've thought that it would be decorated or something, but it was just like a regular auditorium. Don't get me wrong, it still was really cool. I think it was the biggest theater I've ever been to (not counting the Apollo Victoria. If you ever go to London, SEE WICKED!!!). and on each corner of the auditorium, it had a sign with each section of creative connections on each sign. One said Choir, one said Drama, one said Band, and one said Art. And there were about a thousand seats there. I don't see why they need all that space, though. There were only about fifty people in creative connections.
I say down with Jacob right next to Kara and I introduced them to each other.

Then, a lady walked onstage and started talking. "Hello, everyone, and welcome to Creative Connections 2014!!!" Everyone cheered. "Now, before we start, we should tell you that the pamplets that we put out there are really from a couple years ago, so they're not completely acurate, but we still have all those activities and even more! If you've checked out our website, you'd see all those activities." I already did.

She went on talking about the camp, and aout how we're gonna have the best couple days of our lives, and all that stuff. Then she told us that after this, we were to go to our corners of the room. She dissmissed us and me and Jacob went to the Drama corner.
The guy there talked about the practice times for each section of the play. I'm doing it from 10:00 to 12:00, and Jacob is doing it from 12:00 to 2:00, back to back. After he told us all we needed to know, we went back to our room and just talked. And I think I might've developed a crush on him.
