I stumbled as my feet hit the floor of the tunnel. I can't believe that I just made a truce with the Dark Lord. As usual, I threw myself headfirst into something without thinking about the consequences.

"You okay?" Barty asked.

"I think so," I responded. We slowly made our way back to his office. He sat down in his chair and waited for me to clarify. "Is there any way to make someone do something they would not normally do? Other than the Imperius curse, of course."

"Yeah. There are a few different spells and potions that can be used," he said slowly. "Why?"

"Some of the things that I have done since I started Hogwarts just make no sense. I would never have done them before I started here."

"If you think someone could have done that then you should probably go to Gringotts and get tested. It has a fee attached but as Heir Potter, you wouldn't have to worry about cost."

"Heir?" I asked, my confusion evident in my tone. "What do you mean?"

"As the last living Potter you are the Heir to the entire estate," he said slowly.

"You mean like I own a house?" I asked, not fully comprehending the information he was giving me.

"No, I mean all the money and property owned by your family. Everything your parents had when they died automatically went to you as their child. Did no one tell you this?"

"No. As far as I knew all I had was my trust vault and even that I never got to keep the key for," I replied.

"You're supposed to get your Heir rings at twelve when you started Hogwarts. Didn't you meet with the goblins when you went to Gringotts?"

"Hagrid had my key and we only went to my vault and then left," I stated.

"They sent Hagrid to tell you about the Wizarding World?" he exclaimed, mouth agape. "They're supposed to send one of the Heads of House to anyone raised in the muggle world."

"Oh," I said dumbly.

"We need to get you to Gringotts as soon as possible," he said.

"Well, it's Saturday tomorrow. No one should notice if I disappear for a while early in the morning since most people sleep in on the weekends."

"Meet me by the witch statue and I'll take you to Gringotts," he said.

"Okay," I said, turning to leave. As I opened the office door, I turned back to him. "Thank you, Barty. No one has ever told me important things like this about the Wizarding World before." I give him a small smile the exit the room.

I woke up at the crack of dawn and proceeded to get ready for the day. I was nervous about what we would find when we did the Inheritance test. I put on my Invisibility cloak and quickly made my way to the witch statue. I opened the tunnel and made my way down. Barty was already there waiting on me, Polyjuiced as Moody.

"You ready?" he asked. I just nodded, not trusting my voice. He slipped his arm around my waist and pulled me to him. "Hold on tight." It felt like I was being forced through a very tight rubber tube for a few seconds before we landed on the steps in front of Gringotts. I was positive if Barty's arm was not around me I would have fallen flat on my face.

"Let's go," he said. We quickly made our way inside and to the counter.

"Good morning, Griphook. I'd like to speak to someone about taking an Inheritance test," I said. The goblin tellers looked shocked.
