Jake, 19, was on his way to college. His dad driving and his mom asleep, Jake decided to get on his IPad and play games. 2 hours later, they finally get to Jake's college. Worchester University. "Oh my baby boy is growing up so fast!!!" Said Jake's mom. "Mom please stop. You're embarrassing me." "HEY!!!. Don't tell your mother what she can and can't do. She's just proud of you and is sad that you're leaving home for college. She's gonna miss you." Said Jake's dad. " I know, I'm sorry mom." Though Jake didn't mean it. He was just apologizing so he could get his dad off his back. Mean while, a few kids across the parking lot  were laughing hysterically at Jake as he was yelled at by his dad and loved on by his mom.

Jake looked down in disapointment and got his bags and suitcases in a hurry. "Bye Jake, have a good time." Said his dad. "Bye honey, gonna miss you." Said his mom. "Yeah whatever." Jake said. His parents took off and Jake was relieved and took a big deep sigh. He stood in front of the school entrance when..."HEY JAKE!!!" Jake turned his head to see his girlfriend Britanny. His mouth dropped and his eyes wide. "Hey Brittany!, I'm so glad to see you.

I didn't know you were gonna go here?" "Yeah well, I decided to change schools so I could go to the same one as you." "That's great." Jake picked up his luggage and walked into the school with Britanny. "Well, I gotta go, bye." "Bye." Jake said. Jake was wondering why she had to leave but at the same time didn't really care anyway. He walked up to a table with three ladies. One to get your name, another to give you your dorm room number, and the other one to give you the key. Jake walked up to the table and gave his name. The second lady wrote something down that Jake couldn't figure. "Your dorm number is 437C." He walked to the next lady.

As he reached for the key, the woman gave Jake a stare that sent chills down his spine. He walked away with a cold feeling going through his body. As he staggered through the hallway, he got stares left and right. It ran through his mind that these weren't stares of hatred. It was just the stares of hazement.
