The Text Message Killer

Question but no answer

Jake woke up the next morning dazed. He looked at his phone and saw no messages. But he already started thinking about the texts he got from that mysterious unknown person. Jake was for sure this wasn't a prank. He wanted to tell somebody about it but knew that no one would listen. If they did, they would say it was just a prank. But Jake thought, who would do that kind of prank. He took in the factors of this. 1) Any upper classmen wouldn't have the patience for it 2) The prank call joke was just about dead at this point in time, and 3) It just wasn't as fun. Now Jake knew that obviously this person was a jokester. But, in a an evil, threatning way.

Jake walked out of his dorm room. A Saturday. No classes till Monday. Jake's schedule was a little messed up but he wasn't gonna complain. Two classes on Monday, one class on Wednsday, and three classes on Thursday. Giving him Sunday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday off. Jake liked that and was more motivated for school now than he was in high school. He walked down the hall and into the lobby. He got a big draft of air. sending chills down his spine because it was so cold. But outside it would feel good because it was only August.

Jake waited out the whole day just touring the school so he could get used to it and discover new things. He went to the A La Carte again and oredered the same thing he did the day before. He went back inside. At this point it was 6 o'clock. Jake went back to the dorm room and layed down his bed. Not once while he was strolling around campus did he think about what happened the night before. He got on his IPad when all of a sudden..."BZZZZ" His phone went off. He checked it and he had a new message. It said Anonymous. He got that feeling it was the person he was talking to the night before. He opened the text. "Hey buddy old pal, I saw you today at the A La Carte. I was going to say hi but, I decided for safety reasons I wouldn't. Well, at least for your sake." " What do you mean? "
