Chapter 31

HALEY'S POV:

"W- wait what? I don't know what you're talking about" Vinnie lied with hesitation in his voice.

"Vinnis you can stop pretending, I heard you and the boys talking last night about it" I said and he furrowed his eyebrows.

"How did you-...I thought you were asleep?" He asked he asked frantically.

"Well...about that...." I trailed off in a sneaky tone.

"But hey, that's besides the point, you like her and I know" I said trying to change the subject.

"Does Y/n know?" He asked feeling nervous.

"Luckily no, she was actually asleep and is very clueless about this whole situation" I confessed and he sighed with relief.

"Thank God, don't tell her tho" He warned me with a death stare.

"I promise I wouldn't, I actually want to help you guys get together" I playfully smirked and he nudged my shoulder.

"There will be no "getting together", especially with that prick Brayden" He said with finger quotations while clenching his jaw.

"Don't get too mad Vincent, I'm in your side. Plus I can do my magic and get her to see how much she likes you. It's no denying you guys like each other" I patted his back and wiggled my eyebrows.

"How do you know she likes-..." Vinnie began but he was cut off by someone and we turned heads to see Kio, Jordan and Troy.

"Oh we can definitely tell" Kio joined in the conversation. Wait-...did he hear all of that.

"Uhh....how much did you hear" I said nervously.

"Let's just say....all of it" Troy laughed and I rolled my eyes as they all sat with us.

"So I guess we all know now huh?" Jordan said taking a sip of his drink.

"Yeah. But let's go before Y/n and Brayden suspect anything." I said remembering that we left them behind.

"Ofcourse bRaYdEn" Vinnie said in an annoyed tone and I nudged him to stop it.

After about 5 minutes into our walk Teoy decided to bring back the Y/n situation.

"C'mon guys we have to do something about this ship, we can't just let it sink" Troy sarcastically rolled his eyes and I slightly laughed.

"There's nothing much we can do" Kio said.

"Yes there is, we can make Vinnie ask out Y/n, it's not that hard" I suggested and Troy and I fist bumped knowing that we were going to make this work even if the other boys thought we were crazy.

"And how exactly are we gonna do that?" Jordan asked.

"Leave it up to us" I said pointing to Troy and I.

"It's like Fairly Odd Parents, you're Timmy, and we're Cozmo and Wanda. Just let us work our magic" Troy said and we all couldn't help but laugh at the way he described this situation.

Y/N'S POV:

After what seemed like forever, I finally heard some rustling in the bushes when I turned to see the group with a bag of drinks.

"Took you some years" I laughed getting off of the ground walking up to them.

"Hey it's long line back there" Kio defended himself.

"Here you go" Vinnie said towering over me while he gave me a Coca Cola and I smiled.

"Thanks, my favorite" I responded and he grinned as I walked back to my seat.

The rest of the day was just filled with us eating and watching the scenery until it was finally sunset, and when I tell you it was gorgeous. Well...gorgeous is an understatement.

"Let's turn up shall we?" Kio said and we all turned to look at him as he played a song on his phone. Then Kio and the rest of the boys got up from the ground while taking off their shirts. At that point I was like what the hell is going on. And without a second, Troy jumped into the lake and I laughed at his silliness. Then the rest of the boys followed.

"What have we gotten ourselves into?" Haley asked coming next to me.

"I have no idea" I said laughing watching all the boys including Brayden in the lake.

"C'mon don't be shy. Take a dip!" Vinnie shouted and the boys chanted along encouraging us to come in.

"Shoudl we really do this" I said questioning my whole life at this point.

"I mean....let's enjoy our time while we're here" She smiled pulling me off of the ground with her as we slowly walked into the freezing cold lake. Once our bodies adjusted to the temperature, we fully went in.

"Holy shit this cold" I said trying to catch my breath.

"Okay we shouldn't have done this" Hakey responded and I could see her shivering slightly and I laughed at her facial expression.

VINNIE'S POV:
I couldn't help but get lost while watching Y/n laugh with Haley on the opposite side if me while the boys were playing around a few feet away from me.

"BOO!" Someone said coming up behind me and startling me out of my trance and I turned to see Troy while I placed my hand in my heart.

"Shit you scared me" I said wiping the water out if my eyes.

"Oh sorry. You were staring straight ahead and not blinking so I had to make sure you were alive" Troy joked knowing that I was staring at Y/n.

"Shut up, you saw nothing" I laughed.

"Well I did, so I'm not gonna pretend I didn't" He admitted.

"You're staring at her like how 40 year old men watch football, and it's weird." He patted me on the back and I furrowed my eyebrows at his comparison.

"I think you're the weird one" I laughed splashing water at his face.

"No seriously, it's like my dad watching a game. And he's so stuck on the game that when you call him it's like he's dead." Troy confessed with full honestly and I laughed imagining him trying to get his dad's attention.

"But all I'm tryna say is, I know that you like her very much. And I promise a something magical will happen" He winked while slowly floating away from me.

Did he think this was some kind of movie where my fairy godmother slowly fades away while I need help?

"This isn't some kind of miracle Disney movie Troy." I laughed.

"Yeah I get the gist!" He said giving me a thumbs up. God this boy is my 13th reason.
