Y/n was sure he was crying. She reached by the door as she contemplated if she should go in or not.

It had been almost two hours since they arrived and she had her time listening to him sing. He looked nervous at first, she could tell and of course, she wouldn't blame him.

She was horrible at singing, and she was embarrassed when Han Seo-Jun asked her to sing for him after his turn.

She had politely declined, knowing it would be so terrifying to sing knowing her voice wasn't good.

Especially just after hearing him sing, his voice so enticing, deep and perfect just like an angel, could she even dare to think so?

She had been to the bathroom after an hour or two, wanting to get snacks for the boy and herself but he was singing again.

It pained her to realise the song he was singing belonged to his deceased best friend she had heard about from Go Woon.

She was there when Han Seo-Jun had locked himself and Go Woon had panicked a year ago, when their mother was still in the hospital.

She was there when the boy had calmed down and she was there when he had shot her a tired smile before grabbing some water and tiredly retiring to his room.

She sucked in a sharp breath and stepped in, realising the boy didn't notice her, since he had his eyes closed.

Y/n smiled softly, setting the snacks aside and crouching in front of the older boy, her hand extended to wipe away the tear that escaped his eye.

Han Seo-Jun flinched at the gentleness of the touch, internally embarrassed as he realised he's been caught crying when he was supposed to make the girl enjoy.

" Why'd you stop? " She smiled at him,
" That was beautiful. " The softness in her voice surprised him.

She wasn't looking at him with pity or giving him sympathetic looks like others would. He was glad for it, Y/n was really understanding.

He smiled weakly, " Sorry, I just got caught up—"

" No, sing it for me. " Her smile widened causing his heart to skip a beat when she sat down a little closer, looking at him with the same adoration that was making him blush over the past two hours.

Y/n never realised she was holding his hand while he sang. The gesture made her think a few things, but she didn't put much mind to it, seeing as she was too busy admiring him and his voice.

That voice.

Y/n wasn't sure if she'd ever forget it. It was as if engraved in the back of her mind already, she'd hear it over all her nightmares and it'd soothe her back to sleep.

It was that kind of voice. So deep, so relaxing and filled with so many emotions, she couldn't help but just stare.

As if it was an unspoken rule, they didn't talk about the boy being caught crying. After what seemed like another hour of singing and munching on snacks, they decided to get back.
