Chapter 4

It had finally been a week and Marinette got to go back to school, she walked into class and was embraced by a hug when she immediately walked inside. She looked over to see her best friend, Alya. "Girl I missed you!" Alya exclaimed. Marinette smiled and they both walked to their seats. They sat down and waited for the teacher to walk in, Marinette looked behind her to see Lila. She still had the black eye, Marinette turned her attention back to the front of the class. The teacher had finally walked in and started to teach.

After a few minutes of class a knock could be heard on the door, the teacher immediately opened the door and gasped. The class looked towards her confused she talked to whoever it was for a minute before they walked inside. Marinette turned pale, she froze in her seat, she heard gasps all around her. Adrien Agreste is back.

"Adrien?!" Some kids shouted. Adrien smiled, "hey guys!" He yelped when someone embraced him, Nino. Marinette felt her cheeks turn red when he had turned her attention to her, he gave her a small wave before Nino dragged him back to the seat thag used to be empty. Marinette smiled. But it just didn't feel right at all.

Once lunch time rolled around Adrien had gained a few glares from other people and gasps. It was all over the news.

Marinette felt happy for him to be back but deep down something didn't feel right.

"Hey Marinette!" The blonde boy said. "O-oh h-h-hey Adrien!" She stuttered. He chuckled at her and gave her a pat on her shoulder. She smiled at him. "I'm g-glad your back Adrien. But if you don't mind me asking, what happened to y-y-you? You don't have to answer if you d-don't want to."

"Um," Adrien paused for a moment, "I don't like talking about it sorry Marinette." He said sternly. "O-oh sorry Adrien." She said awkwardly. He walked away towards the black limo.
