Jo's POV
We just got done with a vamp case in Seattle. We were packing up our hotel room. "So, you said Bobby got us a case?" I asked.
"Yeah," Dean stated. "Something about a ghost."
"Fuzzy on the details?" I looked at Dean.
"We'll figure it out when we get there," Sam replied. "Do you want me to drive?"
"Is your brother going to be okay, alone?" I asked.
"I asked Sam to drive you, because I know how you get when you don't get any sleep," Dean replied. "I prefer Jo with sleep."
"Let's go," I smiled. We got into my black Dodge Charger. "Back to a state that I can actually stand. Well, maybe not the crime rate or the political background of the state."
"Listen, we might have a little down time on this case after," Sam stated. "Do you wanna grab a drink?"
"I already have plans," I smiled. When we got to LA, I dropped Sam off at the hotel with Dean. I took off to LAPD SWAT. I walked in and saw Street on his phone. "Please tell me you're not on a dating app."
"Jo," Street looked at me.
"If you are, I can turn around and leave," I pointed.
"No, I'm not on any dating apps at all," Street replied. He walked up to me and hugged me. "Why didn't you tell me you were here?"
"I wanted to surprised you," I smiled.
"Street," a guy walked up to us. "Oh, who's your pretty lady friend?"
"Josephina Conners," I held out my left hand. "You are?"
"Sergeant Daniel Hondo Harrelson," he shook my hand. "How do you know Street?"
"I'm his —"
"She's my girlfriend," Street wrapped his arm around my waist.
"I didn't realize we were putting a label on anything," I responded.
"Are you trying to tell me the past seven months were for nothing?" Street asked. "'Cause it meant something to me, Jo."
"If my memory serves me right, you never asked," I replied. "So, I didn't realize we were an item."
"You gotta make it known, man," Hondo smiled. My phone rang and I looked at it. I sighed. "Oh no. That doesn't seem good."
"Yeah, my big headed brothers got themselves in a little mess," I replied as I hit accept. "Excuse me." I put the phone up to my ear. "What do you want?"
"Where are you?" Sam asked.
"LAPD SWAT," I replied.
"Sammy!" Dean stated. "Anytime now!"
"Why?" I asked.
"Any tips on killing something?" Sam asked.
"If I had knowledge on what you're looking for, I might be able to help you," I replied. "Is it a vamp, ghost, ghoul, demon, angel?"
"We don't know," Sam sighed.
"Well, try where the sun doesn't shine," I shrugged. "I'm busy."
"Are you on a date?" Sam asked.
"Not the time, Sam!" Exclaimed Dean. "I need some — whoa!"
"Yeah, go help your brother. I will see you guys at the hotel tonight," I stated and hung up. "Sorry. That's my family for you."
