13. First day living together

　　At the gate of the hospital, Jennie took Lisa to say goodbye to her parents.
　　”Dad, mom, I’m staying at Lisa’s house tonight.”
　　”I see. I’ll pack some clothes for you tomorrow.” Ji Hyun nodded.
　　”No, I’ll go back and pack it tomorrow.” Jennie refused.
　　”Alright.” Ji Hyun answered, then turned to see Lisa standing beside her daughter and asked, “Lisa, does your hand still hurt?”
　　”It doesn’t hurt.” Lisa was in a good mood at this time and didn’t feel any pain from her hand.
　　”That’s good, in the future … I’ll always come to accompany Jennie when I’m free.” Ji Hyun knew that her daughter was now considered a married woman. Just thinking of this, Ji Hyun’s nose couldn’t help but get a little sour.
　　”Let’s go, the car is here.” Min Ho reminded her wife.

　　After saying goodbye to her in-laws, Min Ho and her wife left by car. Ji Hyun’s eyes couldn’t help but look back as the car drove far away.

　　”I know, I just don’t feel at ease.” Ji Hyun worried. “You say, what do you think about Lisa? What if she gets sick again in the future, what can Jennie do against her great strength?”
　　“It’s unlikely, mother-in-law said that Lisa’s sickness rarely outbreaks. Today was a special situation.”
　　“If it wasn’t… at the hospital just now, I would have really gone back on our approval and not agree to it.” Ji Hyun was shocked by the appearance of Lisa’s illness onset. 　　During the time Lisa was receiving treatment in the hospital, Ji Hyun was hesitant. She didn’t care about the marriage, but now that she witnessed Lisa’s illness, she regretted it and almost took Jennie home at the spot. But in the end, she saw Lisa’s smile.
　　Ji Hyun didn’t know how to describe that smile. It was a smile that would make anyone soft once they see it. At that moment, Lisa was full of vitality, like a seedling struggling hard in the spring to grow towards the sun; and her daughter, Jennie, was her sun.

　　Ji Hyun suddenly felt sad. She quietly looked back at her husband and found that his face was similar to hers. At that time, Jennie’s mother cried. At last, her heart softened and left her daughter to Lisa.
　　”Don’t worry, the Manoban family will take good care of Jennie.” Min Ho comforted her wife, but also comforted  herself at the same time.

　　Jisoo was driving the car that carried Jennie and her brother Lisa. she closed the window to isolate most of the outside noise, then turned on the stereo and played soft piano songs.
　　This particular song was provided to them by Professor Wang. It is said that it can help people with autism to ease their mood. she and her parents had it prepared to play at home and in every car. When Lisa’s mood was unstable, they would play it for  her.
　　While turning up the volume, Jisoo secretly observed the situation behind  her from the rearview mirror. Lisa was very quiet. she had reclined on the seat with her eyes closed, as if she had fallen asleep. her body no longer emitted irritability, nor… the lively smile that she revealed earlier.

　　It’s not that Jisoo has never seen Lisa smile before. From her childhood to now, Lisa also had times when she’s happy. Lisa liked to read and purse her lips into a smile, her eyes are bright and her ears red. They all like to watch Lisa smile. As long as Lisa smiled, it was as exciting as seeing their company’s performance double in one year. But the smile they just witnessed- they have never seen before.
