Billy:

You two were on a walk and you came across his mom.

You smiled and placed your head on Billy's shoulder as you walked. Suddenly, Billy stopped. You looked up at him with furrowed brows, only to see him staring at the middle-aged woman with a stoic expression.

"Billy, sweetie?" you said, grabbing the hand that wasn't wrapped around your waist. He looked you, his eyes glazed over. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, yeah," Billy said, a slight quaver in his voice. "It's fine beautiful." He kissed your forehead.
"Who's that?" you asked softly, nodding at the woman who was now looking at the two of you.

"She's um," Tears began falling from his eyes. You watched, surprised as Billy began to cry. You had never seen him cry before. You looked at the woman to see her walk away. He fell to the floor. You knelt in front of him and wrapped your arms around him tightly.

"Hey, it's ok," you cooed, stroking his hair. Billy looked up at you. You sighed softly, then wiped the boy's tears away.

"She's my real mom," Billy sniffed, looking down. "When I was a kid, I got lost at a carnival and then sent into the foster system." You listened intently. "I spent years looking for her, then finally found her with Eugene's help." He chuckled lightly. "When I went to reunite with her, she told me that she saw me. The day she lost me. She didn't want me." A single tear fell down his cheek. "She wouldn't even hug me," he said, furrowing his brows. "Why aren't I good enough?" he mumbled, forgetting you were there.

You frowned, then grabbed Billy's face, kissing him passionately. "You're more than good enough," you mumble, pulling away. Billy smiled softly then placed a small kiss on your lips.

Freddie:

Freddie feels useless and that you're too good for him.

You walked up the steps of Freddie's house and knocked on the door. Billy answered. "Hey, Billy," you grinned.

Billy didn't return it. "Freddie's upstairs," he said, a sad frown on his face. "I think you should see him."

Your smile turned into a worried frown. "What's wrong? Is he hurt? Did the Bryers get him? I swear if they did anything-"

"Just go see him," Billy interrupted your rambling.

You nodded, then walked past him and into the house. You quickly sped up the stairs and into Freddie and Billy's shared room. "Freddie?" you asked softly, slowly opening the door. Suddenly, it was slammed closed and you were pressed against it. You gasp softly when you see Freddie staring at you with red eyes. "Freddie, are yo-" You were cut off by Freddie smashing his lips onto yours. You were surprised at first but soon melted into the kiss, tangling your hands in his curly hair. You pulled away with a smile. "What was that for?" you giggled but quickly stopped when Freddie let all his weight on you, a sob escaping his lips. "Freddie, oh my god." You looked to the side to see the poor boy's crutch on the ground. You furrow your brows then wiggle out from under Freddie. You wrap an arm around his waist, then with a grunt, you help him walk to Billy's bed. Once you were both sat down, Freddie put his face in his hands then began crying. You gasped softly. You had never seen Freddie cry, ever. You waited until his sobs stopped to speak. "Freddie..." You grabbed his hands and pulled them away from his face, holding them in your own. He looked away from you. You gripped his chin, gently pulling his face to look at you. "What happened?" you asked softly, but forcefully.

He huffed. "The Bryers were saying things about you. Inappropriate things and... I-I tried to stop them." Tears filled his eyes. "It um, didn't turn out too well."

Anger filled your eyes. "I'm going to kill them," you growled.

"No!" Freddie yelled, surprising you. "That'll just prove them right."

"What?" you asked, confusion written across your face.

"They told me, I'm useless and that..." Tears filled his eyes again.

"What?" you asked softly, moving your hand to the side of his face.

"That you deserve better," Freddie said, looking you in the eyes. "A part of me believes it."

You frowned, then leaned in a kissed him passionately but softly. "I can't get anyone better than you," you said, pulling away. "You're perfect for me. You're funny and smart and kind and always make me smile. You keep me up at night. When I think of who I'm supposed to be with, I think of you. When I think of you hurt, it scares me. I don't think I could live a day without you in my life. You're my superhero." You placed both of your hands on each side of Freddie's face.

He grinned then pressed his forehead against yours, placing his hands over yours. "Aren't I supposed to be giving the love speech?"

"Eh, you're too slow," you giggled. Freddie gasped, then began to tickle your sides, causing you to start laughing. "Ok! I yield!" you exclaimed.

Freddie chuckled, smiling at you lovingly. "Let's go watch some superhero movies," he said, grinning. You nodded.

And that's how you spent the rest of your day.
