Luna- Chapter One and Two

Chapter One

A Mother's Love

It was war... ending that was not seen in ages. Dragons fighting, and blood scathered everywhere. Auroclipse Island has been raided by hunters, killing and showing no mercy to the creatures. The enemies were more prepared than the Auroclipses, which were unaware of the danger. Any dragons trying to escape were violently killed by dangerous creatures known as Corrupted Dragons. These beasts are incredibly aggressive, tortured, uncontrollable and zombie-like versions of their normal counterparts, and they were released by the Leader of the raid in order to kill the Auroclipses. It was like a never-ending Nightmare. Soon enough, most Auroclipses were executed until none were left... until, a female managed to escape, but was quickly noticed by the Leader of the massacre. Forcing the Corrupted dragons, they started chasing the poor dragon, the beasts firing non-stop, luckily for the Auroclipse, dodging the shots.

This went on for a while, until a Corrupted dragon managed to damage her left wing, causing her to crash into trees of a forest, breaking both wings. With struggle, the dragon got up and picked up her treasure. She then started running, by the same time the Corrupted dragons were chasing her. She eventually came accross a river, and knowing she couldn't fleed anymore, understood her treasure was also in danger if she doesn't do anything to keep it safe. In her mouth, an egg... she gently deposits her egg in a mushroom cap she found on the ground, and made a final farewell before gently pushing the mushroom into the river, leading the egg into what she hoped safety. She sat down, heartbroken, but knew it was the only way for it to survive. Soon, the Corrupted dragons landed, and growled at the mother. The Auroclipse turned around and stood in a battle pose, ready to give time for the egg to be far enough. She fought all that she could, at the same time getting attacked, only to collapse and perish from the constant attacks. Her sacrifice allowed her egg to safely travel to the Mushroom Kingdom. It reached over to a city, and days after days, the baby dragon grew bigger in the egg, until...

It hatched...

Chapter Two

Alone

Luna's POV

Since the day I hatched, it's like if the world was trying to kill me. Life was hard, food was a pain to find, as I constantly had to eat either half-eaten or spoiled food I can find in the trash or in the ground. I can't hunt... I can't fly nor can I breath any elements. Water is not too hard to find, but I wish it couldn't taste like mud or even have these weird sticky particles in it. Yet it was all that I had. I was also fearful, and went hiding from people that were approaching me. Everytimes I got caught, I always have found a way to escape. Even finding a place to live in was difficult, but after months of searching, I found an abandonned factory. I was lucky enough to know absolutely nobody was living or coming here. I barely even come out now, it is so calm that I can finally stop constantly running from people. I only come out when I'm hungry and thirsty. Other than that, I do nothing.

One day, I went out for food, until I smell something... very sweet. Of course, the curious-being me got over my control, and so followed the sweet scent, only to stop as I glare at what seemed a "Police Officer" as people like to call them. I knew he was one due to the outfit, but I was so focused on his food. "Donuts"? What are these? Do they taste good? Should I ask him for one? Oh yikes no, I don't want to be seen as a monster... I watched as the Officer was about to take a bite-- well... I don't even know how he eats anyways... what's with that screen head? I shook my head as soon as his phone ring. He stopped his action and stood up, replying to the call. I was lucky he was looking away, so I quickly ran out of the bush, jumped on the bench and stole a donut, only to run back at the bush. Goodness grief, I could taste all that sugar. So sweet, but darn, so good! Literally the best thing I ate in ages. I planned to go get another one, but as I turned around, the Officer was gone, along with the donuts. It's official. From now on, you, screen-headed Officer, will be known as Donut-Man! Every weeks, I secretly followed him to the bench and stole a donut from him every single times he wasn't looking. The look of confusion on his face when he finally realises his missing donut is priceless. I feel bad for stealing, but it's so worth the donuts! It went on for quite a while.

By the time I was doing this, everything went fine, until one day, I got awaken by noises in the factory. I carefully looked what was the noise about, and I saw them. A big group of criminals made their camp here... I could see so many papers, being plans and other stuff... I heard about these kind of people... "Illegal" as Donut-Man was saying. I was now so scared to leave and risk them to see me. I haven't left the factory in days, stuck in fear and having no courage to fight it... I was hoping for someone to help or even save me from this unfortunate situation...
