SYNOPSIS:
Ward Cameron wronged Theodore Collins when they were both young, and Theodore was always one to hold grudges. He packed up and moved himself and his new wife, Adela, down to a quaint town in Georgia. Together, they had three children; two sons and one daughter. Tragedy struck the family when Theodore unfortunately passed away due to an illness, no more than two years ago.
Adela decided it was time to put the past behind them, and finally move herself and her family back to the Outer Banks. She befriends the Camerons, and her children do as well – all except for her daughter, who can't seem to shake the feeling that something evil lurks within both of the Cameron men; her father taught her to trust her instincts, and to always set out to either confirm or debunk her theories, and that's exactly what she does.
DISCLAIMER:
This book won't follow along with the storyline of Outer Banks – we've all watched the show, we know what happens and how everything plays out; I wouldn't want to be repetitive in any way.
Rafe is not an addict in this book! I know that can be a sensitive topic for some people, including myself, and I wouldn't want to miswrite it; therefore, I'm leaving it out entirely.
The year is 2021, but covid-19 does not exist.
