Chapter 3: Harmony

Mr.Saboro's residence.

John was lying down on his bed thinking about the events that transpired in that forest hours ago.

He checked the time on his alarm clock.

11:43 Pm.

He sighed.

He just spoke with Sera online just about 2 hours ago and it's gotten him into deep thinking.

"Why not start giving yourself a chance?".

He sat on his bed.

"Give myself a chance huh?".

He started thinking again about what happened at the forest.

"Was I hallucinating?". He asked himself while rubbing his head.

His thoughts drifted back to the half-snake girl.

He blushed as he remembered the event.

"Maybe I'll go back there tomorrow...who knows I'll run into her again".

He thought about talking to Mr Saboro about Yokai in the morning before heading back to the forest.

After finishing eating John put the dishes in the sink and started washing.

"Oh, you don't have to do that John". Saboro said.

"No it's fine I should help while I'm staying here it's the least I can do".

Mr Saboro just hummed in agreement.

A thought then crossed John's mind.

"Hey, Mr Saboro...what do you know about the Tengu forest?". John asked.

"Well...like I said the other day it's a forest that is inhabited by Yokai deep in the forest there's a gateway that connects both the Yokai and Human world". Mr Saboro explains.

After cleaning the dishes John put on a grey shirt and a blue hoodie along with some sneakers and shorts.

He walked through town meeting a couple of locals who greeted him.

He arrived at the massive Torii gate.

He stopped and just stared at it for a bit before continuing walking.

The same as yesterday he walked through the trees made it up the stone stairs.

He was at the greener part of the forest where he could've sworn he heard voices.

Just then.

"LOOK OUT!" He heard someone shout followed by a branch snapping.

He quickly looked up noticing a strange mass falling on him.

*Crash!!!*

John groaned in pain as he opened his eyes. Only to find his face buried in two large soft mounds.

"EEEPP!!! I'm so sorry!". A female voice squeaked out.

John quickly up and got a good look at her.

"So you are real".

It was the same girl whom he met at the waterfalls with the lower half of a snake.

A yokai.

"U-uh w-what?". She asked.

"Oh sorry just wanted to confirm that you weren't just a figment of my imagination".

The girl just looked down at the ground her large tail wagging behind her.

"Y-you're not afraid of me?". She asked meekly.

"Huh? Why would I be?". John asked confused.

"Because I'm half-snake! Most humans who come here would scream and run away while yelling monster before they even got to know me, it gets lonely here and back at home you know?".

"Well, where are your parents?".

The snake girl started sniffling and tearing up.

"My mother died 3 years ago and I've never known my father my species are female dominant".

John started to feel great sympathy for the yokai girl, so without hesitation. He pulled out his handkerchief and wiped away her tears and pulling her into a warm embrace.

She gasped, she was never touched by a human before. Or even approached by one because as she said humans were deathly afraid of her kind. Maybe they were mostly afraid of the nature of her kind kidnapping and force marrying human men she always thought.

But here was a human now comforting her seemingly not afraid at all.

John pulled a handkerchief out of his pockets and started wiping away her tears.

"It's okay everything is gonna be alright". He said.

Then he froze as he gazed into her eyes.

He thought he saw the entire universe in those eyes. The shape of his soul being reflected back at him in those eyes.

*Ba-Dum*.

*Ba-Dum*.

His heart started beating loudly.

He snapped out of his trance as he noticed both of their faces were beet red.

"U-Um...so what's your name?". He asked her.

"I-It's Aimi..what about yours?".

"John Doe".

She pondered for a moment before smiling.

"John...That's a nice name".

"Your's too the name Aimi means beautiful love...It suits you".

After realising what he said he turned beet red while covering his mouth, he looked at her seeing she too was blushing madly.

"S-so uuuh...why don't you show me around the forest for a bit? And in the meantime let's get to know each other more". He asked.

After hearing those words Aimi felt like she was going to explode due to happiness.

"R-Really?".

"Yup!".

Her body shook with happiness as she let out a vibrant sequel.

"OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD...I JUST MADE A FRIEND A HUMAN FRIEND!!".

She immediately tackled John to the ground burying his face into her large breasts

"Thank you! THANK YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH!".

She immediately notices that John was in a state of passing out due to lack of oxygen.

"Oh! I'm soo sorry!!". She immediately let's go of him.

John takes deep breaths his face redder than a tomato.

'Her boobs are even bigger than Claire, Cecile and Seraphina's combined!!!'.

A few moments pass before John stands up smiling at her.

"Well then let's get going".

She grabs his arm and drags him away, John is confused but complies.

"I can't wait to introduce you to the others!".

"Wait there are others?".

"Yeah! The other Yokai, Ooh! And after that I'll take you to the mansion in the mountains! Don't worry it's not far, Ooh! And then to the Lake!".

John just chuckles as he listens to her talking.

'This has to be the most interesting trip I've ever been on...thanks dad'.

Little did they know this was the start of something beautiful.
