Arriving at starnatch cliff, Gee prepared himself for any possible outcome. After all they weren't if this was even going to work, even though venti had reassured him many times that it will. The only reason Gee was doubtful was because he never trusted Gods, every encounter he had with them in his travels usually ended up with them dead at his feet. He stood at the edge of the cliff as the others discussed the plan behind him, he was brought out of his thoughts when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked to see diluc staring at him with a worried expression.

"are you okay?" diluc asked worriedly, Gee smiled at him softly causing diluc's face to flush a bit.

"I'm okay my dear, was just thinking is all." Gee informed him, he was thinking about a way to subdue dvalin. He didn't want to kill him as he seemed precious to venti, and Gee grew to like the bard enough to try and help him. He looked to see him walking towards the very top of the cliff preparing to call on dvalin, he took out the lyre and began playing a beautiful melody. And Gee had admitt it was good, but that didn't last to long as he felt the wind picking up. He felt dvalin's presence coming towards them, he stood directly behind venti with his arms crossed in case something happened.

"You have come, what is done cannot be undone." dvalin's voice roared.

"if so, then why do I see sadness in your eyes? Sadness that speaks of your yearning for this song?" venti asked him, dvalin didn't respond. As There was suddenly something shot at venti, but before it can hit him Gee grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back next to the others.

" do not be fooled by him dear dragon, he left you to rot alone. Now he plans to deceive you once more." the abyss mages lies rang through dvalin's head as his anger grew, venti tried to reach towards him but was stopped by Gee. Who stood protectively in front of everyone, ready in case a fight was about to go down. He put his hand on his sword, ready to end what was in his opinion a waste of time.

"Barbatos." dvalin roared angrily, he was too blinded by his anger and hate to realize that he was being lied to.
"let your wrath fester dear dragon, mondstadt has already turned its back on you." more lies spewed from the abyss mage fueling dvalin's anger, "you! You were planning this all along, to have me slain by them?" venti tried to reason with him, but it was clear that dvalin was too far gone.

"the time has come for the dragon to serve its true Master, while you bewail your pathetic self and watch the world tremble with fear." the abyss mage words rang out, as he flew away on dvalin's back.

"well that was an interesting spectacle." Gee voiced out, mildly annoyed by the situation. He was brought out of his thoughts by diluc asking about how the lyre was, which somehow has been hit. Even though Gee could've sworn that nothing has hit it, but no use crying over spilled milk.

"unfortunately, I think it's beyond repair." venti told the group, Gee mentally groaned at this. Because now they have to go on another chase, which he did not look forward too.

"now what?" Gee asked the group, more specifically venti.

"we have to save dvalin, he's in danger." aether voiced out, Gee agreed with him. If they don't stop dvalin as fast as possible, more people will be in danger.

"no, we should make that abyss mage pay first, if we don't fight the evil at it source, then how are supposed to save dvalin at all." diluc told the group.

"in which case I shall call upon outrider amber to track them down." Jean informed them, although she seemed a bit nervous at the idea.

"no need." diluc intervened.
