I was just about to book it when my phone rings.
Caller ID: Kara
Kara was my manager, she took care of my schedule, we met by chance, I tripped and almost spilled my entire tea on her, after apologising and paying her a drink we started talking and we became really good friends, then my YouTube career started kicking off and I offered her a job as my manager.
"Hello?" I say as I hear noises from the other side of the phone call.
"Hey Aleks, just called to say your meetings have been anticipated so you'll be free by 3 PM"
"Oh, okay"
"Either ways, we need to meet up at 10:30 to check your schedule, Rob will pick you up in 20, is that okay for you?"
"Yeah"
"Well then see you"
"Goodbye" I started packing my stuff and somehow I finished packing just in time Rob was calling me. I grabbed my suitcase, my travelling bag and my purse and left my room. I get outside the hotel and see Rob's Range Rover parked.
"Hey" I say to Rob who was standing next to the car and put the things in the trunk while I got inside and said hi to Kara and hugged her.
"Okay, so first you have a video interview for Clevver News, then a small photoshoot for your new blog post and you should be done."
"When's the interview?" I ask as Rob starts the engine and the car begins to move.
"Right after we get some Starbucks, we’ll get there they’ll do your makeup and then you do the interview”
"Okay, it should end at what time?” I feel the car coming to stop.
“At 11:30 I think” she turns to Rob and says “ I want a caramel frap”
“I want Iced Chai Tea please” I say as Rob exits the car and Kara turns to me.
“So I’ve seen you met Mr. Dutch Boy” I looked at her not knowing what she meant, until I remembered Martin is Dutch and there are pictures of us online.
“Uh, yeah” I say playing with the tips of my hair.
“Ohhh! You like him?” she asks curiously.
“I mean, he’s really sweet…”
“You do!”
“Shut up…” I made a pout face and Kara laughed.
Kara was about to say something when Rob entered the car, the reason Kara doesn’t talk about boys to me when Rob is around is because Rob acts like a big brother to me therefor he would get all protective.
“There you go girls” Rob says while giving us our orders. I sipped on my tea and Rob started the engine. Kara looks at me and wiggles her eyebrows and I just laugh and almost chocked but quickly stop as Rob fixes his rear mirror so he can see me, and I couldn’t help my self to look down and try to control my laughter.
-After the interview-
I say goodbye to Miriam and Misty who are two of the hosts from Clevver and exited the building with Kara.
When we enter the car Kara starts a conversation about my blogpost photoshoot.
“So since you choose to write about your ideas for outfits for school we gathered up somethings and you can pick what you think it suits best.”
“Okay” I say with a smile and my phone rings.

I slide to answer and put the phone to my ear.
