Chapter 9

Stephanie's POV
I shook my head at the thought. "I'm so hungry!" Saray said starting the car. "Me too." I said.

"Do you want to go to McDonald's?" She asked me. I said yes and we went off.

The McDonald's we went to was basically empty. All there was, was only one other person and the employees. We walked in and ordered our food.

We sat down and I was tapped on the shoulder. I looked up to see Connor. I squealed and jumped up to hug him. "I missed you Connor!" I said when we separated.

"I missed you too Steph!" He said laughing. "What's happening?" Saray said.

"Connor was only friend back when I lived in Wisconsin. I moved here about 3 years ago. Connor and I lost connection." I said.

"What are you doing here anyways?" I asked him. "Well I found your mom's number a year ago and I called her. She said you guys moved here. I have been really busy lately and I have just now got a few weeks off. So here I am." He said smiling with his perfectly straight teeth.

Too bad he's gay. "Do you want to come hang with me and Stephanie at my place?" Saray asked.

"Sure." He said. He followed us to Saray's house. We just hung out for a while until Connor had to go and check in at his hotel.

* 1 week later*

I missed Luke. So damn much. Every single day has been getting worse and worse. I thought I would be over him by now.

I guess I still like him. Connor has been coming over everyday to hang out. "How about we go out today?" Connor asked me. We were currently cuddling.

"Sure. It's getting boring being here with you." I said jokingly. He laughed and I got up to get ready. I put on some skinny jeans and a breakfast club shirt. I slipped on a jacket and put my hair in a bun.

Today was Saturday so a lot of things should be open. I put on my sunglasses and grabbed my phone.

"I'm ready." I said to Connor. Connor grabbed his car keys. We got in the car and drove off.

We decided to just walk around town so we parked on the side of the road. We were walking for about 10 minutes and I saw the familiar blue eyes. He looked up and saw me and Connor.

He gave Connor dirty looks. Connor didn't notice and kept walking. He saw a picture of a bunny and looked at me goofy. When we were smaller we had this game were when we see a cute animal we kiss each other on the cheek.

It's stupid now that I think about it but we were just kids. He kissed me on the cheek and all hell broke loose.
