chapter four

It's been two days since you had last seen Connie, wanting to give him some time with his family and spend time with your own. You were driving back to your apartment after dropping your parents off at the airport. You wanted to get a few of the things that you could already bring to Connie's place, which was just an excuse to see him again. When you got into your apartment you gathered a few boxes of clothes and other stuff and packed it in your car before driving to his house. On the way there you stopped at a coffee shop to get something cold to drink since it was already very hot outside.

Connie had already given you a key to the house just in case you brought stuff over when he wasn't there. You got inside and looked around for a sign of Connie until you got closer to the stairs to the lower level, where a faint sound of music came from. You knew that the gym was down there, so you quickly got his iced tea for him from your car and went downstairs. The closer you got to the gym the louder his music got and when you stood in the doorway you could see him dancing to the Beyoncé song that was playing.

You stood there quietly, studying what his body looked like. You eyes wandered from his shirtless back down to his ass, staring at it in the tight shorts he was wearing. You bit your lower lip at the sight of him, the way he moved his body to the rhythm of the music and how each movement showcased a different set of muscles. You couldn't stop staring until he turned around, pulling you out of your thoughts with his words

"Take a picture it lasts longer baby"

"Sorry I didn't mean to stare"You quickly looked up at his face in shock.

He chuckled at the look on your face.

"It's fine, don't worry baby I'll send you some pictures later that you can stare at" he winked as he walked over to you.

You wanted to say something but decided to keep quiet and handed him his drink.

"I got you peach iced tea, I guessed you like peach since you always wear peach lip balm"

He tilted his head slightly, smiling as he took the drink.

"I love peach, it's my favorite"
He took a sip of his drink and the two of you made your way up to his room. He told you that he needed a quick shower and made his way into the bathroom that was connected to his room.

As he headed into his bathroom, you started looking at the pictures on his wall next to his door. He had multiple from parties with Jean, Marco and Eren and even more with Sasha. You knew the two met in high school and have been best friends ever since. What surprised you were the many pictures he had with Mikasa, especially the ones that seem from his childhood. You never knew that they had known each other for that long.
You spotted a few more with Armin, Niccolo and a few other people, until your eyes fell on a couple of pictures of the two of you. Some of them seemed to be from last year but some were really recent, ones that you didn't even know existed. Two Polaroids especially caught your eye. They were from the party four days ago, one with the whole group, to which he wrote 'mi familia' and the other one was one of the two of you which said 'me haces feliz'.

"You make me happy too" you whispered, smiling softly. You kept looking at the picture for a while before you continued looking through his room. You soon spotted a few swords on his other wall. You got closer to them, analyzing their design. You could make out that two of them were Katanas but you only knew the third one from watching game of thrones . You reached your hand out to touch them but just as you got close to them you were stopped by a voice.

"Careful they're sharp"

Connie stood in the door frame with his towel wrapped around his waist.

"I got the two Katanas on top from Mikasa's Family, they brought them for me from Japan". He was walking over to you as he spoke.

"The Longsword on the bottom I forged myself with my uncle, he makes movie props but he's always had a passion for making real ones"
