I stand on the bottom floor of the agency, holding my briefcase in my hands.
"Thank you for having me," I say to Kamui woods and the others. I smile and wave before hearing someone call my name. "Huntre!"
Looking around, I realize Hibiki is calling me. I cock my head slightly to the side as he runs up to me. He's holding something in his hands. It's the connection I was using when I first got here to make sure the briefcase didn't get left anywhere.
"Oh, thanks! Can you help me with that?" I ask, shifting my case to one hand and offering up my hand. He nods and connects one side to my hand before connecting the other to the handle of the case. Before walking back though, he hands me something.
It's a small piece of paper, with his number on it. "I'd like to get to know you better." He says, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand. I smile and nod. "Sure, I'd love to get to know you better as well," I respond, taking the paper and slipping it into my jacket pocket.
I wave bye to them as I begin to walk away. "Make sure to come back and visit!" I hear one of them yell out. I smile wider and wave a bit longer before turning fully and walking out the agency doors.
-------
I sit at a desk, leaning on the edge to watch the others interact. I watch with a smile as everyone falls back into their usual places.
I smile at the sight of Ochako doing small fighting stances and maneuvers where she's standing. Finally, someones taught her how to fight, now I can't wait to see where she'll go from here. I'm leaning against the desk when I look up at the attention brought over.
I hadn't realized how close I was sitting to the other three, I was way too invested in watching the others as they conversed. I watch as the others share concern in our direction. They walk up and I shrink back a bit into my desk, leaving the corner I had been leaning on.
Moving to rest my head and arms on the desk and peaking through my arms, I watch as the other three take a moment before agreeing with them. I wonder if this is going to be a silly story they'll look back on in the future when they're pro heroes. Maybe by then, the real story will have passed around, maybe not in public but at least among the people of this classroom.
I startle when Kaminari mentions the video. I had seen it, I mean, who hasn't seen it by now. I completely understand the video, as it completely shows Stain. He's a person in the gray area of society, and he had good points, but he was just going at it the wrong way.
I shift in my seat as Iida begins to yell for everyone to go back to sitting. It seems pre-stain Iida is back, at least in some form.
_______
I stand with the others as All Might tells out about today's activity.
We're going to be doing a rescue training race, but I'm hesitant from what I can see. There are metal twists and lines everywhere in the area we're about to go in, and while I may move fast, I wasn't made for the metal streets. I can't figure out how I'm going to grip onto those as I run.
Like usual they're probably going to treat this like a serious situation, meaning sinking my claws into a pipe might burst water or something like that and they'll talk about how in a real situation that pipe could've been anything.
Midoriya's fuckin shaking from beside me, dear god is this boy okay. I understand he loves heroes with a passion but I swear one of these days he going to pass out and not wake up for a week.
Field Gamma. A field of industrial factories laid out like a labyrinth. When All Might mentions that we're going to have to keep damage to the buildings at a minimum, everyone turns to Bakugo but I look down at my hands and flex the muscles. My body's rested a lot since the incident, and the skin over my claws has grown back in.
