THIRD PERSON POV

"Hey mom." She said, looking at her mom.

"I am Violet. Wait- you already know that, because you saw me that day." She paused, feeling embarrassed.

"I am your daughter. I was shocked to know that. That doesn't mean I am not happy. I mean, when I saw you that day, I was so shocked and happy, because you were one of the few people who were kind to me and it meant a lot to me."

She looked at her mom. Even if her father tried to convince her that it wasn't her fault, she couldn't help but feel guilty.

"I am sorry. If you hadn't met me that day, you would've been fine."

"You know, Amelia, the woman who kidnapped me, convinced me that she was my mother. But she never acted like it. She would either just ignore me or- " She stopped mid sentence, taking a deep breathe. "It doesn't matter now, what she used to do. But what I wanted to say was, she convinced me that she was my mother but yet I craved for mother's affection. I always wondered, what if my mother was anything like my friend's mother. Who would ask me when how my day was, after I come back home from school, to whom I could vent my feelings too, who would help me pick an outfit for school, who would take care of me when I was sick."

"You know what, forget about the past. I now have a good family, so I am going to be grateful and enjoy it. When Lily, my social worker said that I have a family, I was happy and confused. Confused because, I wondered why I was away from you people for so long and happy because now this was my chance to have a new beginning. And when she said , I had 6 brothers, I was over the moon. I always wanted an elder sibling, mostly a brother, and when I got one I was so, so, so happy, I couldn't describe it."

"When I first met dad, he asked or my right hand. I was confused, then he looked at it carefully, my guess, he probably saw my birthmark, and then he hugged me. I was still recovering from my rib injury so it was hurting me a bit."

"Meeting my brothers was the best part. I am close with the twins. We always play video games, in which I always win. Now that I think about it, they probably let me win. I may have to talk with them."

"Anyways, they always tell me embarrassing stories about Nic and Gio. Speaking of Gio, he always pokes my face cheek, I don't know why. But I always smile or laugh at that. And Nico, he is really great at braiding my hairs. The other day, I was in front of the mirror crying, because my hair was a mess, but then he did a dutch braid, which he said was easy, but it look so beautiful."

"Also, Silvio and I made some cupcakes and they were so tasty. He also made some cookies that day, and Enzo and I ate some with ice cream that night. And dad joined us too. Poor Silvio was wondering where the cookies went the next day."

"Marcello, I didn't get to spend much time with him. I think he is happy that I am back, because when he saw me that day, he couldn't stop smiling. So I guess he is happy. But, we didn't get to spend much time, since he is always at work. I hope to spend some time with him."

"The other day, dad said I would start going to new school with my brothers, and to be honest, I am happy. Students in my other school weren't too nice. The didn't bully me, but I know they would just order me to their homework, or just copy mine. The latter don't bother me much. Also they would blame me for something I wouldn't even think of doing and then I would get in trouble. I should've distanced myself from them, but I don't know why I didn't do it."

"I hope you wake up soon mom." Violet said looking at her mother, a sad smile playing on her face.

Meanwhile, Alexander was happy. Doctors said that they have notice some improvements in Alessandra's condition, and there is a good chance that she might wake up soon. He really wished that Violet could get to meet her mother in better condition and not with her mother being in coma, but there is nothing he could do about it. But he hoped for his wife could wake up soon and probably his family could go back to normal. Happy and peaceful.

He got out of the doctor's office and started walking towards his wife's room. He saw Silvio standing in front of the room door.

"What are you doing here?"

Silvio said nothing but pointed towards the room.

Alexander saw from the small glass window in the room, his daughter talking. They couldn't hear what she was saying, but they still stood there watching her.

"She is still the same. I still remember her talking our ears off. It used to annoy us before, but I bet everyone missed it when she was gone."

"I know. Do You remember all the stories she used to say."

"To be completely honest, I don't. I never used to pay attention to what she used to say."

Alexander laughed at his son's blunt reply.

"So what did the doctor say?"

"Well, they said there is a progress in her condition, and she might wake up soon."

"That's good to hear."

"Yeah." He glanced in the room once again. "I really don't want to interrupt her. This is the most I have seen her talk."

"What are you talking about dad? You should see her with the twins. Those three don't stop arguing."

Alexander was shocked to hear that. He noticed that she was close to her twins. But after everything that has happened, the twins, who once wont stop getting into troubles, distanced themselves from everyone. They rarely used to come out of their room or have a conversation with anyone.

"Really?"

"Yeah. The other day, when we were making cupcakes, she asked me everything about my work, and then she talked non stop about how she wants to be a businesswoman and dominate the business world."

Alexander smiled at that. She can be anything she wants to be and he would be happy as long as she is doing what she loves.

"Its getting late, we should leave." Alexander said looking at his watch.

"Yeah, make sure she takes her medicines."

"Yeah." Alexander said before entering the room.

"And then I kicked him- oh hey dad." Violet stopped mid sentence before seeing her father.

"Hey sunshine. Visiting hours is going to end soon, we should leave."

Violet pouted. She didn't like hospitals, but for the first time she didn't want to leave.

"Hey, don't worry. We'll come visit her soon." He said looking at his daughter's glum expression.

"Okay." She said.

"Do you want some ice cream?" He asked her.

"I can never say no to ice cream."

"C'mon, lets go."

"Bye mom." She said, before leaving the room.
