"AHHHHH!" Branch screamed as the Cuddle Pup Mama chased him. It growled, and barked, slime coming out of its mouth, and gooping onto Branch. He fell, covered in the sticky stuff. The Cuddle Pup Mama was getting closer. He tried to get back up, and run, but he was stuck to the ground.

Thinking fast, he shot his hair up to a branch sticking out of a tree.

He tried to pull himself out of the goop, but it held tight onto him, making it impossible to get free.

The Cuddle Pup Mama got closer, and closer, snarling, ready to eat Branch in one bite. Branch didn't give up. He kept pulling on the branch with his hair, until he was finally free.

He flew up into the tree, landing safely on the branch, as the Cuddle Pup Mama leaped into the ground, where he once was. She shook off her face, and then looked up at Branch.

Quickly, she charged for the tree, ramming into it, trying to knock Branch down. He held on tight to the tree branch, watching the Cuddle Pup Mama below.

Finally, she stopped ramming into the tree, looking up at Branch, as she growled at him. Branch smiled, knowing that he was safe up in the tree.

"Ha!" he shouted. "In your face!" He laughed, taunting the Cuddle Pup Mama. "Na. Na. Na. Na. Na. You can't get me!" He taunted, sticking his tongue out at the beast.

Suddenly a bird came flying over, landing right next to Branch. He didn't notice the bird at first, as he was too busy mocking the Cuddle Pup Mama.

When he was done with his victory dance, he opened his eyes, seeing the bird next to him.

"AHHHHH!" he screamed, falling backwards out of the tree.

"Oof..." he said, as he hit the ground. "Ow..." he moaned, as he sat up, rubbing his head.

Suddenly, he felt hot breath breathing down the back of his neck. He froze, and then slowly turned his head to see the Cuddle Pup Mama. "Ugh... hi?" he said, hoping she had forgotten how he was mocking her just a few seconds ago. Unfortunately, she did not.

The Cuddle Pup Mama barked at Branch, and he screamed, turning around. He tried to stand, but he was scared stiff. She opened her mouth, her sharp teeth coming right for Branch.

"Ahh..." he yelled, holding up his hand, pleading with her to stop. Suddenly, the sound of singing caught the beasts attention. She turned her head away from Branch, lookin in the direction the sound was coming from. It was Azalea, singing the song she had learned in school, as she walked towards the bunker with Poppy and Twig.

Branch looked over at them, and then at the Cuddle Pup Mama. She licked her lips, and then charged for Branch's family. "NO!"
