Branch chased after the Cuddle Pup Mama, as it got closer to his family. It pounced, growling, and snarling. Poppy, and the kids turned their heads to see it coming at them, and froze in terror.

"AHHHHH!" They screamed.
"Ruuuuugh!" Branch yelled, flinging himself forwards, and tackling it.
"Branch!" Poppy yelled.

Both the Cuddle Pup Mama, and Branch tumbled to the ground, rolling away from Poppy and the kids.

"Ow!" Branch yelled in pain, grabbing his ankle. The Cuddle Pup Mama shook itself off, and then turned towards Branch.

"Grrrr..." she growled. He tried to stand, but his ankle was in too much pain. He looked up in fear at the Cuddle Pup Mama, still clutching his ankle. She got closer, and closer... then, suddenly, a loud bang sounded from behind Branch.

Confetti blasted past Branch, and into the Cuddle Pup Mama's face. She yelped, spinning around to run away.

"Hugh?" Branch said, confused. He turned, seeing Officer Sparkleton standing with a confetti blaster. "Officer Sparkleton? You saved me?"
"I still don't like you," he replied. "But..." he sighed. "Yes. I saved you."
"Thank you so mu..."
"Don't you ever mention this to anyone, or else." He pointed to his eyes, and then to Branch, slowly backing away into the bushes.

"Ok?" Branch said, confused.

"Branch!" Poppy yelled, running over to him with the kids. She dropped down beside him, hugging him tight.

"Ow. Ow," Branch whined. Poppy backed away.
"Oh my god, Branch! What were you thinking!? You could've died!"
"I'm sorry," Branch said clutching his ankle. "I... I just...". Poppy interrupted him, by giving him a kiss. "I love you so much, Branch," Poppy said. "I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost you." Branch smiled.
"I feel the same way, Poppy. That's why I'm so over protective of you and the kids. I couldn't live with myself if I let anything happen to you guys."

Poppy hugged Branch again, and Branch hugged her back. Azalea and Twig jumped onto Branch, joining in the hug. "Ow!" Branch yelled, as Twig landed on his leg.
"Your leg!" Poppy said, concerned.
"I'm fine," Branch said.
"No. I'm taking you to see Dr. Moonbloom right now."

She helped Branch up, and led him to the hospital, Azalea and Twig fallowing behind.

"How did you get rid of that Cuddle Pup Mama anyways?" Poppy asked.
"Well actually... believe it or not..." He looked over seeing Officer Sparkleton hiding in a bush. He pointed at Branch, and then broke a stick in half. Branch gulped.

"Ugh... She just ran away," he finished.
"Really?" Poppy asked.
"Ugh... yeah. Totally not for any other reason."
