Chapter Four: Finally Official

We get done with the Game Bang and gave Ian his punishment... MASHED POTATOES TO THE FACE! We rapped up around 2:30 and I was getting hungry.

"I'm going out for lunch. See you guys in a while." I said heading towards the door. Matt grabs the handle and says "I'll go with you!"

"Okay. Sure." I said as he held the door open for me. I was in the hall when I heard Lasercorn tell us,

"Later love birds!"

"Hey... Shut up! It's not a thing for right now. " Matt said. He seemed mad about it but I let it go for now. We walk over to a Taco Bell and sit down outside to eat. I wait at our table and listen to some Muse. I was thinking about what Lasercorn had said. Matt finishes our orders and comes back outside with food.

I took off my ear buds while he sat down and asked, "So uhm... You seemed mad at Lasercorn because of what he said." He looked down at the ground like he was embarrassed,

"Yeah... I was. He knows that we aren't a thing yet. I don't know a whole lot about you. All I know is that you can play video games well." At this point I was starting to understand why he was so mad. He asked, "Tell me something about yourself, like what kind of music you like?"

"I love anything from The Beatles, John Mayer, Muse, Nirvana, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Hoodie Allen, Ed Sheeran, London Festival Orchestra, or even jazz musicians like Louis Armstrong or Lee Morgan. I could go on, but I'm pretty sure you get this gist that I like just about anything!" I look over to him smiling at me while eating his food. "I quote Robin Williams, 'You know what music is? God's little reminder that there's something else besides us in the universe; harmonic connection between all living beings, everywhere, even the starts.' Music connects people. Music is the greatest thing ever invented."

"Music speaks the words that we can't say." Matt said. I looked at him smiling like an idiot again. He asked, "Is there anything else interesting about you? Do you play an instrument or sing?"

"I play piano, clarinet, and ukulele. I hope one day to make my own music." He nodded and we went back to eating and talking about life. We were almost done and Matt asked,

"You know, you should put your talent out there. Do you have a YouTube channel?"

"No, not yet. I really want one though."

Matt asked, "When we get back to the studio, do you want me to help you set up an account? Maybe make your first video?"

"That would be great!" I said with delight. We finished eating and headed back. On the way I see a man who looks a lot like Ian and I's dad. I grab Matt's hand and squeeze it hard enough to try to get his attention to look in the direction of the guy.

He looked at me curiously and said, "I see him, what about him?"

"He looks like my dad! I don't want to be seen. I just want to get back and..." I started to cry and hyperventilate. Matt pulls me close to him, trying his hardest to calm me down. We stopped for a minute and he said, "I promise that I will protect you in any way that I can to keep you and even Ian safe." I smiled a litte. He kissed me on the head and after a few minutes we were walking back. We get to the Smosh building and Matt sees Ian and asks him to go somewhere else so they could talk about something. I walk over to where Lasercorn, Mari, and Joven where and we played some GTA just because. It was a great feeling to be somewhere where I can trust people with my life and keep me safe at all cost.

-Matt's P.O.V-

Ian and I walk into the kitchen so that I could tell him about the guy Julie and I saw,

"So we were walking back here and Julie sees this guy and said he looks a lot like your guy's dad. I just thought that I would be the one to tell you so that she wouldn't go into another episode, she almost had one on the way here. She is okay now, but I wanted to say that I want to keep her safe. I may not be a strong guy, but I can damn sure throw a punch if I really need to." After a few minutes of Ian collecting his thoughts he said,

"Sohinki... I want to thank you for doing that and going with her. I now know how much you care about Julie. I know for a fact that you will take care of her in every way! You're a great guy." I smiled and Ian gave me a quick bro hug and we went back to where everyone else was. I walk in and motion Julie over to tell her about what Ian said.

"Hey, what's up? Everything okay?"

"Yeah. Can we talk in the hall for a sec?" She nodded and walked out. I closed the door and said, "So I told Ian what had happened and moral of the story, he was glad that you where okay." She looked up at me and smiled her perfect smile.

"Thank you for doing that!" She said has she hugged me. We let go and something came over me and I asked,

"So... There is no other way to say this, but..." I stopped for a second because I felt like I was going to throw up...

"Yeah?" She said looking at me, confused.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I felt like a thousand pounds where lifted off of my chest. She looked at me for a minute and finally said,

"Yes! Oh my god... YES!" We hugged again, then I look down at her and kissed her! I heard the door open and it felt like everyone's eyes where on us and Lasercorn screamed, "HA! I TOLD YOU GUYS THEY WHERE A THING! SUCK IT!" We broke the kiss and just looked at each other. Everyone was fangirling at this point. Mari gave Julie a hug and we let the tension die down. Today was a good day. Julie is mine and that's the greatest gift I have ever gotten in a long time.
