Chapter Five: The Best Birthday Gift

A few weeks have passed and they have been the best! Matt and I have decided to keep our relationship on a down low for now.

My birthday is on Saturday *April 16th* and Matt said that he had something for me, but I can't get it until then.

"Can you give me a hint at least?" I asked Ian while we were making dinner. Ian was not that great at keeping secrets, but he has kept his mouth shut for this long. Honestly, I'm surprised he hasn't cracked yet.

"I can't tell you. Sohinki would kill me!" Ian was trying extra hard now.

"Fine. I guess I will just wait until Saturday." I said putting a pizza in the oven. "Anthony should be here in a few minutes." I said looking down at my phone. We sit at the kitchen table and hear the knock on the door. "I'll get it." I said getting out of my chair. I get to the door to see Anthony with drinks in his hands.

"Anthony's here." I yelled to Ian. "Do you need any help getting stuff out of your car?" He nodded and said, "Yeah, just chips." I went outside to get them with Ian following behind. I have been in their current "Lunchtime With Smosh" videos and I love making them so much! We get back inside and set things on the table. It was about time for the pizza to come out of the oven so we started filming.

"Hey guys. So today we have decided to have dinner instead of lunch because we have worked all day long on a Smosh video with Keith, Olivia, Noah, Ian, Julie, and I. We said fuck it, let have dinner. Ian and Julie were ever so grateful to made pizza!"

"Grateful meaning that we were all to lazy to actually go out and get food so we stayed here and made pizza?" I said smiling to the camera.

"Yeah. That's actually what happened." Anthony said. He started to ramble on about something when I heard my phone go off... It was a text from Matt, "Hey, are you excited for your birthday present on Saturday?:) I know that you will love it!"

"Ohhhhh! Who is that, your BOYFRIEND?" Anthony said pointing the camera back in my direction.

I froze for a second and looked at Ian then back at Anthony and said, "Maybe... We can talk about that on another day... Pizza's done!" I go over to the oven and set the pizza on the counter so that it can cool down. We set up the table and sit down about to eat. Ian went into the computer room to edit a video when Anthony and I hear another knock at the door. I take the camera and walk over to the door.

"I wonder who would be at the door... Maybe he/she is going to kill me or try and sell me realestate." I said. I open the door to see Noah.

"Hey Noah, what's going on?" I asked while giving him a hug. "Guys, Noah is here, don't eat anything yet!" I yelled.

He waited for a second then said, "Ian said that I could come over and eat with you guys. I'm not sure why to be honest..." Noah waved to the camera and went into the kitchen and sat with Anthony. I go back in and gave the camera to Anthony. Ian sat down and we started eating. A little while later Ian turned on the camera and said,

"Anthony, I think it's time for something?"

"FINDING TWITTER QUESTION, FINDING TWITTER QUESTIONS!" Anthony yelled. "Smosher1927 asked, 'How is @JulieHecox liking living in LA?' I don't know how about you ask her, Julie?"

"I love living here. I get to pick on Ian all of the time!" I said smiling at him. "Also, it's really cool to be able to work for Smosh! It has been my dream job for a while now and I get to work with these losers, so I guess that's a plus!" I was about to eat a slice of pizza when all of a sudden Noah and Ian hug me and go "aweeee!" I get out of their grips and say,

"Okay weirdos, you can get off of my balls now!" They all laugh and Anthony says, "You've been around Lasercorn way to much."

"I'm not sure what you are talking about..." I said looking down at the table. We go one about his for about five minutes or so and decided to call it quits. We finish up and Ian asked me,

"So since we are most of the way finished, except for Noah who eats slower than a sloth, what would you rate this food?"

"98 sloths/100"

"Damn... That's a lot of sloths!"

I said, "I guess we will see you guys next Thursday unless we die from now and then... Or one of us just so happens to get hit by a truck." Everyone looked at me really weird then Noah said,

"Wow... That got dark really quickly. Later guys!"

"Later... bitch." Said Anthony.

We finish up, Noah and Anthony left so Ian and I decide to clean up. We finished the dishes and I decide to go up to my room and procrastinate and go on tumblr. for hours on end. My phone goes off and it's Matt. Oh crap... I forgot to text him back, gahhhh! I hope he's not mad. "Would it be cool if I came over to Ian and yours place for a while? Everyone left and I'm bored."

"Sure!:) See you soon" I close my phone and walk downstairs to where Ian was,

"Hey, Matt is coming over in a few. Just thought that I would let you know."

"Yeah, that's fine. I know that you won't do anything stupid." He hugged me and went into the computer room. About 15 minutes later there is a knock on the door and it's Matt.

"Hi!" I said. He smiled then kissed me. I closed the door and said, "So I haven't made a YouTube account yet... Would you mind helping me with that?" He nodded and we headed up to my room. We sit down on the floor and Matt pulls something out of his pocket,

"What's that?" I asked.

"I don't know what you are talking about. I don't have anything." He started to blush a bit, trying not to smile.

"You have some kind of package... Are you hiding something from me?" We had a staring contest when he broke down and said,

"Okay... I couldn't wait until Saturday to give you. So you know how you told me a few weeks ago that you really like Ed Sheeran?"

"Yeah, I remember." He handed me the packet he had in his pocket. "What's in it?" I was starting to get really excited.

"You have to open it!" He looked at me and kept smiling as I was opening it. I look inside and see two tickets and a piece of paper.

I look at the tickets and screamed! "Matt, oh my GOD! Are you freaking kidding me? You got me Ed Sheeran tickets for my birthday?! This is amazing! I have no words! Thank you so, so, so, so much! You are the best boyfriend ever!" I couldn't do anything but sit there in awe!

"So I'm assuming you gave her gift to her early." Ian said walking in my room.

"I couldn't keep it a secret anymore." Matt said. Ian said,

"It was really hard for me to keep my mouth shut."

"Thank you guys so much!" They both said you're welcome and Ian left.

"So how about we make your YouTube channel? Sound like a plain?" I nodded and got out my computer and we set it up. It was getting late so we decide to get some rest.

"Want to stay here tonight?" I asked him getting cloths so I could go to sleep.

"You sure Ian will be okay with that?"

"Totally! He knows that we won't do anything stupid. He trusts you and he trust me." He said okay and I go and change. I get back to see him laying down watching tv. I get in bed and he raps his arms around my waist. I say, "Hey Matt..."

"Yeah?"

"I uh... I-I love you." I said with shakiness in my voice.

"I love you too." He said. It was silent and I had to ask him,

"Do you really mean it. I hate asking, I just want to know that I can say I love you without you being weirded out."

"Of course I meant it. I love you to the moon and back a million times. And that's a promise!" I turned around and he kissed me. Afterwords I fell asleep feeling like I was the luckiest girl in the world.
