Heya!
So no, this isn't the real story written by LittleRedWriterHood. This is a spin off I was asked to make. All the characters are the same. I hope you like it. Im writing this on my iPod, so sorry if there are any mistakes. Bye c:
PS the chapters are still names of songs. Sorry if they aren't good enough xD OH AND the picture up there is sort of like the picture in this chapter. Sort of ish.
Chapter One: Kids In The Dark
The music was blaring in my ears, louder than my thoughts them self. I check the time for about the thirtieth time since I sat down. Racking my brain I look down at my undone Math homework.
Focus Victoria!!
You focus!
I am you!
A little voice in my head yelled. I bark a shut up back, wondering why I'm talking to myself.
I've always been an average stupid, but people view me as a nerd because I am usually alone all the time. And I'm smart. I guess that makes me a nerd.
"Okay so seven times seven is forty nine, and forty nine times seven is three hundred forty three. Then you multiply that by five- wait no.. You'd multiply it by-" my head phones were ripped out of my ears and I jump back startled.
"Could you stop talking to yourself already? I've been calling for you for you ten minutes!" He says closing my math book. I glare at my brother Dylan.he could have at least not ripped them out, gosh! Respect!
"I was doing homework!" He roles his eyes and pulls me towards the door. The whole time me glaring into the back of his head.
"Keyword: was," he states. I rip my hand out of his grip and flick him on the back of the head. He rubs where I flicked and glares at me.
"What even do you want?" I groan following him down the hall towards the living room.
"Well, Charlie and Tyler are gone with mom and dad for the night at Grandmas. so we are going to have some fun," I spin him around and give him a flat stare. Some times he was the funniest person known to man. Other time he was just an idiot.
"Dylan my dear brother you must have a brain the size of a pea if you think I'm going anywhere near you and your pea brained friends" I've never been very sociable. I had a best friend, who also happened to be my only friend. Elise. She moved away around a year ago and since then I've just been a nobody. The girl who people walk through and stomp all over. The girl who hides behind people and sits alone. No one notices me, and I like it that way. Dylan always tries to get me to hang out with his friends but lets face it, his friends are pigs. They play with girls. For fun. I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure I don't fit in with that crowd.
I'm more of the "stay at home and watch Sherlock all day" type of person. I didn't party or do the frick frack, I read and watch shows. I do my homework. I stay out of trouble most if the time.
So take my personality, and completely opposite it to make my brother. He doesn't really care about trouble, but he isn't as worse a his friends. He's had a steady girlfriend, and he actually cares about her. They are so cute together too. Dylan wasn't a 'badboy' but he definitely didn't follow rules that much. I'm glad he isn't like his friends.
"Come on! Just for a few minutes at least," I glare at him. I find my feet following him even though I command them to stop. Looking at my dumb feet I find myself walking into the living room.
"Yay it's Tori!" The guys exclaim. I role my eyes and take the seat next to Cedric, their newest recruit.
"So what's shakin' bacon," Troy asks. He's always been a flirt, flirting with every girl who walks past him. I give him a flat state and he gets the message putting his hands up in surrender and looking away.
Dylan grabs his Xbox paddle and so does all the other guys. I pull my knees to my chest and rest my chin on my knees. Dylan clicks the resume button, and they continue playing their game. I watch for about five minutes then shut my eyes, just listening to them converse.
"Bored?" My eyes snap open to see Cedric looking at me. He was the only one not playing.
"Uhm yeah haha," I laugh nervously. I'm not very good talking to new people, I would much prefer not to be noticed. The guys are over all the time so I am used to them.
"Ah. Your brother do this a lot?" He asks looking at the screen.
"Yeah," Taking my chance, I study him. He had black hair that was fluffy looking, but covered by a grey beanie. His eyes were dark, but not in a color way. They were dark like.. He could eat your soul in two seconds if he wanted. But he also had this warmness to his eyes I just couldn't place my finger on it. He had this mysterious aura about him. Like he was hiding some huge secret.
"Are you part of the mafia," I blurt out but cover my mouth, blushing lightly. he chuckles.
"Of course. How'd you figure me out?" I shake my head and laugh lightly as does he. When he smiles while laughing it is really cute. The thought makes me blush again.
"I don't know" we laugh quietly. Everyone else is too much into the game to notice us. Suddenly the shy Tori that everyone knows comes out and I look down. Getting up quietly I mutter a 'bye'. He looks confused but I pretend not to notice.
Once I get to my room instead of going for my undone homework I walk to the window. It was beautiful outside.
The sky was black dotted with stars that shined bright. And the moon. The moon was different tonight. It was a red moon. I cover my mouth looking in awe. The mountains were also in the sky, with most and fog around them. I quickly run and get my camera. I've taken many many many pictures before. But the sight in front of me was jaw dropping. It was stunning.
Before my bestfriend Elise moved she bought me a light yellow Polaroid camera. I bring it with me everywhere, in case of times like this.
Click
I snap a picture of it. It was probably the prettiest picture I've ever taken. It was beautiful.
"Tor?" I spin around to see Dylan standing at the door. He was leaning on the door frame, still at least six inches taller than me.
"Hey" I saw inviting him in. He takes a seat on my bed, making it bounce a little.
"The guys are staying over. Are you okay with that?" He was so sweet like this. He never has his friends stay over unless I say it's okay. I smile and nod.
"Of course it's okay Dylan. As long as they aren't bugging me I'm fine with them" he perks up. I should have known the whole "I love you sister more than anyone in the world" face on him was fake. Stupid.
"Yay! Love you little sis!" He says running out. I had an idiot for a brother.
I jump on my bed and pull out my laptop. Pulling up Elise's Skype, I send her the picture of the beautiful moon and sky and mountains. She texts back:
Omg that's beauts! Call me!
I do as said, and she picks up right away. I don't even have time to say hi before she starts screaming.
"OMG TORI GUESS WHAT?"

Hehe. It's finally done xD
How's everyone? Comment c:
Sorry if my writing sucks. Because it usually does xD oh and I wrote this on my iPod. So sorry for any mistakes. And sorry if its short. I can't really tell on here. And the song "Kids In The Dark" is my latest obsession, so I ha to put it in here. I love. It's by All Time Low. You must listen to it right now. Sorry this chapters so short, it's sort of just to fill everyone in just in case you haven't read the really Echo. It isn't much and you don't meet many people but its just the first chapter. It only so that I have the basics down and everything.
Bye guys (: don't know when I'll update again. Hopefully soon.
