So, no one asked for this, but I got bored and I missed my babies, so here is a collection of scenes of Harry and Luz's life after Moon Tower. Enjoy!xx

There was something calming about being out on the water on a surfboard.

Unless of course one was planning to propose.

Ever since Luz had found out that Harry had planned on proposing, they had made a bit of a joke of it. The two of them would talk about their wedding as if they were already engaged, the only hint that they weren't being Luz's bare ring finger.

All jokes aside, Harry was freaking out.

At first, when he finally decided that the time was right, he struggled to find the perfect ring. Because of his own expensive-leaning tastes, Harry wanted something grand, his eyes often drifting towards the bigger diamonds in the display cases at Tiffany's and other well-known jewelry stores. But he knew that Luz wasn't really that person, so he had to reign it in a little, often taking Mitch with him to offer input, or Niall if he was free.

Harry felt like he'd seen hundreds of different styles, cuts, shapes, and colors. And yet none of them felt right. He even tried going to Luz's sisters for help, asking them to weigh in on the dilemma, but even then his trips to various jewelry stores were fruitless. He started to consider just having one custom made, but he worried that would take too long or that all the different rings now swimming around in his head would cloud his judgement and result in a hodge-podge mess.

It seemed almost fitting that he would find help at a wedding, which is where all his problems were solved. He and Luz had been invited to one of her cousin's weddings, and while she was off talking to one of her many family members, he was left alone to watch the happy couple sway together on the dance floor. It felt like this whole day had been one big tease, a constant reminder that he wouldn't get to share these moments with the person he loved if he didn't get his act together and make up his damn mind.

As he sat there at one of the circular dinner tables, stewing in self-pity, a woman came and sat down next to Harry, and though they had never met before, he knew who she was. It was Luz's grandmother.

Sofia Garcia had flown out to see another one of her grandchildren get married, just as she had with the ones that came before this. Harry's back straightened involuntarily and was suddenly glad his shirt was buttoned most of the way up when the elder woman, who looked both frail and formidable in her deep blue dress, lowered herself into the chair. Harry offered her an arm, but she swatted it away, settling down at the table without his or anyone else's help.

Harry didn't know what to say, or why she had come to talk to him at all. He wondered if she had come to tell him in some dramatic fashion that he couldn't be with Luz because of some age-old rivalry between their families. Harry knew it was a preposterous thought, but he figured Luz's grandmother's disapproval with his relationship with Luz would be an obvious obstacle thrown in his way, seeing as he couldn't even accomplish the simple task of buying her a ring.

"I heard you plan on proposing to Lucero," the older woman said. Her voice was quiet, but not weak, just thick with an accent, but Harry didn't doubt that she spoke perfect English.

Harry cocked his head to the side and fiddled with the tablecloth. "Where'd you hear that?"

"I hear everything," Sofia said simply, and Harry nodded along like it made total sense. As far as he knew, she still lived in Colombia, but he remembered Luz telling him once that gossip travels fast in her family. He only hoped that this particular piece of information hadn't traveled to her yet. "I also heard you're having an issue with the ring."
