"Who do you love more?" I asked. I looked at him expectantly, tears blurring my vision and sobs racking my body.
"Her," he said, without a second thought. From the second the words slipped past his lips, I ran. I ran as fast as I could and until my legs gave out, leaving me in a dark alley. My body fell to the cold, damp ground, broken, angry, and numb.
When I finally found the strength to climb back to my feet, I noticed a shadow out of the corner of my eye. My breath hitched in my throat, and as my feet began to run again, a slimy hand covered my mouth. A strong arm wrapped around my waist and held me tightly in place. My vocal chords strained to yell out for help, but due to the hand that was clamped over my mouth, my pleas came out muffled.
Suddenly, my perpetrator slammed me against the rough brick of the alley wall. My body had somehow managed to turn around, and I could now see the purple haired man. His smug grin was what caught my attention.
"What's your name, baby?" He asked, his Australian accent hoarse. I was too scared for words, so my answer was silence, which I soon realized was a mistake. He asked again, but more forcefully this time, and wrapped his rough hand around my neck.
"E-Emma," I choked out, fighting to hold in the sob that was threatening to escape my throat. As soon as my name was in the air, the man smirked.
"Well, Emma, you're in for something good tonight," he laughed, his chapped lips trailing kisses down my neck. Fear coursed through me as I realized what he meant. His rough, cold hand snaked up my shirt, causing goose bumps to rise on my skin. A shiver ran up my spine as he gripped my breast tightly, causing pain to radiate through my body.
A whimper managed to escape my lips, causing a wicked smile to spread on the man's face. "You like that, baby?" He asked me excitedly. His words caused warm tears to stream down my cheeks. His hand simmered down my skin and fiddled with the button of my jeans. I instantly thrashed around in hopes to get this disgusting man to stop, but it only seemed to egg him on. He threw me roughly to the ground, his hand leaving my mouth for a brief second. I took my chance.
"Help me, please!" I cried out, but it was useless. My voice was strained and quiet, only allowing my attacker to hear.
"Shut up, you bitch!" He yelled, striking me hard in the face. My eyelids became heavy as dizziness washed over me. I let out a silent prayer as darkness drowned around me.
