Where's the Fossil?

It's around 3:43pm in Fossil Isle, Adopt Me, on 9th of October. The time machine is just about finished, only a few more parts. And the team needs 1 more fossil to power it up. All of these fossils they found together, will help bring back extinct animals, well...

'Okay, I think we should look for that fossil, or I can look for it...?' One of the team's extra palaeontologist, Taylor Kinsley noticed that the time machine only needed 1 more fossil, so she should probably look for that.

'Huh? I thought we had all the fossils...?' Tom, the creator of the time machine was confused, he could've sworn that the fossil was there yesterday.

'Correct. The fossil was in there, and when I got here I noticed it was gone all of the sudden...' Henry, one of the fossil analysers knew that there was a fossil that needed to be there and it's gone.

'But who could've taken the fossil, was it a visitor?' Tom pondered about who took it, but obviously, it wouldn't be a visitor.

'Probably not, Tom.' Taylor disagreed with him.

'Obviously, it wouldn't be a visitor, it would probably be some criminal...'  Rachel wondered.

'Well, someone would've travelled in the past, and then took the fossil with them?' Maybe, it was possibly someone from the future who took it.

'True, the technology must be advanced there over there.' Taylor wondered if the unknown people in the past has gotten to build a time machine first.

One of the visitors, who is an unknown person from the future overheard the conversation. They came out and questioned the team.

'From the future? Have you heard of this place called Neon District?' The unknown time traveller questioned them, then all 3 were confused about what this person was saying.

'Huh...?' All of the team was confused.

'Well, let me explain this further, so you guys understand.' The person explained all about Neon District. 'Neon District is a place from the future, and I know everything about it. I was born there.' They explained more about this city, the team understood about it now.

'So, could we possibly... go there? Do you know a way?' Henry questioned them.

'Yeah, is there...?' Taylor questioned too.

'Yup, there is a way to go there, and it's basically travelling in time.' The person told them that the only way there was by time travelling, because this city was set in the future worlds.

'Can you show us how to get there?' Even though Tom is a time traveller himself, he was confused about how to get transported to a future world.

'I'll just open this portal for you all.' Then, the person summoned a portal, which would lead them all to Neon District.

'Anyway, does any of you know how to get back here when you get that fossil?' The person wasn't sure if any of them were time travellers.

'Yes, I know how to get us all back here, I can only travel back in time and not forwards into time.' Tom answered.

'Alrighty, hope you guys stay safe there, it's kinda dangerous there!' The person hoped they would be okay, and the portal closed, and the team was off to encounter an unknown world, that they never seen before.

(Sorry for almost forgetting to add Rachel in, but I did it now. My lazy brain forgot that they were an NPC in the game.)
