[WoO/WOO] Corvera X Hyacylium FANFIC Woodlore - Onerios origins

[part 4] "Consequences"

  The hyacylium watched as the corvera flew away, the adrenaline started to disappear, leaving only a tired, wounded and alone hyacyilium to lay on the shores.

  The hyacylium felt something on its face, jolting awake it realised there were many gilberts and other small critters crawling on it, drinking the nutricious warm blood from its wounds. The hyacylium quickly got up and shook off a few of the scavengers, crunching a few of the nutricious gilberts for its own survival. The survivors quickly scattered away into the nearby dense foliage of the rainforest. The hyacylium wanted to leave as soon as possible, but due to its reckless behaviour it olny injured itself more. 

The planet's star was started to set already. The hyacylium saw olny more rainforests around the sandy lake it had just plunged into. If it were to make it out to dawn, it must find shelter. Its instincts flooded hot blood into its body, there was no time to waste. The hyaclium looked in the tree's for perhaps a hollow log, but there olny appeared already nearly fully decomposed behemoths that couldnt possibly fit its apex predator size. 

The hycalium heaved its near-collapsing body through the thick rainforest. Compost like soil squelched beneath its pattering feet. Its body collected tiny pieces of foliage, branches and whatever the gracious rainforest could offer. Soon enough tho, the hyacylium found a place - a hollow half-chopped tree with moss all around the bottom and sides of it. It seemed quite comfy, as vines and much foliage stretched across it to collect the rays from the rare sun in such a dense forest. It crawled down the crator of the tree, the moss shot water as its front foot landed. Yuck - it seemed it rain very recently.. Tho it was better than nothing, not like it could use its wings now anyways. The hyacylium neatly circled the moss-bed, searching for the driest spot untill it found one and collapsed its beyond exhausted body. 

Unfortunately sleeping in a rainforest unlike the quiet winded plains is rather difficult - creatures croaked, screeched, chirped and whatever noise they made in the squelchy, wet, dense rainforest. The hyacylium sneered "better than nothing, i suppose."
