A loud screech pierced through the horned creatures voice as it felt its skin being nearly punctured by the corveras teeth, but suddenly the corvera let go and tussled with it in a flash. The hyacylium could olny watch from below as the figures tussled with one another like two lizards, and as feathers and sand whirled around them. All of a sudden it got quiet, with the sounds of quick feet scurrying away, but the corveras figure still there, above, looking back in silence. The hyacylium felt calm, but noticed some kind of rustling very close to it.. Beneath its feet was a little plated creature, and some kind of... other ones.. all together, in the hole.. The hyacylium noticed small embedded holes on the ground, some with water or little clumps of seaweed. Was this how the hyacylium would've been treated if it stayed with the horned creature?. Oh wait, yeah, escape time! "Hey! Are you gonna help me get up or not?" It called from above to the corvera. The corvera didnt move, but twitched is ear and fixed its gaze to the hyacylium. It looked oddly dissatisfied and growled "Why would I, I just follow you everywhere, right? Im just a predator so i might as well go." The corvera began to turn to leave, but suddenly slipped at the edge of the hole, making an embedded space, just low enough for the hyacylium to get on to. The corvera didnt look like it really meant to, and seemed embarrassed, before quickly flying off into the rainforest.
The hyacylium slowly got up and looked around, nobody was around.. Just the sand, with footprints scattered everywhere and embedded streaks across the sand from the fight. Untill the hyacylium turned back remembered the little critters trapped in the ditch, they were still stuck there and already looking weak and sickly from malnourishment.
CHAPTER 2
The corvera was laying on some sturdy rainforest tree branches. The branches swayed from a mysterious wind, the scent of salt and seawater flowed around. Below the corvera was the beach, it was watching the hyacylium. The hyacylium suddenly turned back and started digging out the ditch.. But why? The corvera lowered its head and its eyes narrowed, its ears facing forward. The corvera watched the hyacylium stumble down the ditch, spooking the critters and making them go up the small bridge it made to the surface. The hyacylium got up and climbed from the pit, it seemed happy..
The corvera pulled its head closer to its ruffled feathers, its curled front arm carved a scar in the tree, it seemed it was angry from its disgruntled expression and lashing tail. Suddenly it released its grasp, the corvera layed its head down on the branch as it looked forward, lost in thought. The corveras mind was filled with stirring feelings of aggression, jealousy and resentment, but also guilt.
It felt so embarrassed and just.. rage.. not because of the hyacylium, but itself. It just saved the hyacylium from a possessive and clingy creep, but acted so rude about it.. I mean yeah, the hyacylium has been denying its help multible times, well actually it asked it just now, but its just.. weird.. The hyacylium has been pretty harsh, but it keeps needing the corveras help, well atleast, the corvera.. no I.. think so.
What is it gonna do now? The corvera cant just go up to the hyacylium, it was kinda mean! But it cant apolagize because uh.. same thing.. yeah.. And it cant, no it can..., but- ARGH! The corvera suddenly released its claws and gouged the tree, loudly. Shoot! Did the hyacylium hear it? It looked down, and the hyacylium was already looking at it! Dang it! The corvera scurried off from the tree and into the rainforest quickly, now its done it..
What now? Everything is ruined! Fury and internal rage filled the corveras head, it keeps doing everything wrong!
