Chapter Fourteen

His eyes widened as I spoke. He gently grabbed my shoulders. "Are you serious?" I nodded.
He caught me by surprise as he grabbed my face and pulled me into a kiss, but I didn't hesitate to kiss him back.

We continued smashing our lips together. He ran his tongue against my bottom lip asking for my permission to explore the inside of my mouth. Our tongues danced together. My hand ran through his messy brown hair as his hands grasped my waist.

God I had no idea how long I had been waiting for this moment but it finally came, and I loved it.

We both made our way to the king sized bed. He positioned himself on top of me and pulled away before asking. "Are you sure you are ok with this love?" I nodded "Yes William. I want this." I said as I pulled him back into our kiss.

An hour passed by and I pushed him off of me. We both laid there trying to regain our breath.
I pulled the sheets up to cover my upper body. God I loved it. No, I loved him. I needed his affection.

"I love you William." I said. I faintly heard him say it back before drifting off to sleep.

I woke up feeling Williams' hot breath on my skin. He had his chin rested on top of my head. I looked at the alarm clock on the side table. It read 9:30pm. (It was 5pm when they got home.)  "Damn it's that late already?" I whispered.

Just when I was about to lay back down I heard a knock on the bedroom door. "Miss Y/N? Are you in there?" It was Lizzie. Shit..

"One second Elizabeth!." I yelled which had woken William up. "Sorry William" I said before kissing his cheek and hopping out of the bed.

I started putting my clothes back on before I opened the door to the sight of Elizabeth patiently waiting outside.

"Whats up Lizzie?" I asked her. "I'm hungry." She pouted.  I giggled, she was so adorable for no reason at all. "Ok lets go fix you something to eat." I said taking her hand and walking to the kitchen.

"What do you want to eat?" I asked her. "Peanut butter and Jelly sandwich please!" She pleaded. I nodded and got out the bread peanut butter and the grape jelly. I grabbed a butter knife and began to spread the peanut butter onto one piece of bread, and jelly on the other.

I placed the bread together and put it onto a plate and cut it diagonally. "There you go." I smiled at her as I handed her the plate. She took the plate from me and said. "Thank you Miss Y/N!" She smiled back at me and ran back upstairs to her room.

William appeared from around the corner which made me jump. "Jesus William! You nearly gave me a heart attack!" I whisper-shouted at him. I noticed he was only wearing a robe and nothing else which made my face light up red.

He let out a quiet laugh "Sorry darling. You didn't have to get out of bed. I could've easily made her something to eat." I shook my head 'No'. "I don't mind. Besides I love those kids like they're my own."

This seemed to make him happy because a smile formed on his face. "God I love you Y/N." He said walking towards me. I felt his arms wrap around me. I hugged him back and we stayed like that for a few seconds until he pulled away.

He cleared his throat and said. "We should be able to go back to work on Monday" I nodded. "Ok." He looked at me with a worried expression on his face. "Are you alright darling?" I cocked my head to the side. "What do you mean? I'm fine." He walked closer to me and put his hands on my waist. "I just.." He sighed before speaking again. "I just don't want what we have to make our relationship.. Awkward." He confessed.

I giggled a little. "Why would you think that it would make it awkward?" I asked. "I just don't want you to hate me.. I know I have done some bad things recently and I sincerely apologize my love." He paused.

"I guess what I am trying to say is that I don't want you to feel differently about me because of what I have done." I tilted my head again with a confused look. He exhaled before speaking again. "The murders?" "Oh.. yeah"

I honestly forgot about that because of what happened with Clara and Chris and Michael..
So much has happened that it completely blew over my head.

I looked at him and asked, "What did you do while me and the kids were away..?" I was hoping he didn't do what I thought he did. "I drank. A lot." He said, sighing.

"Im sorry William." I held my hands to his face. "I just got mad when you kissed  me, and when you smacked Michael. You had just lost your youngest child and you were stressed. I just made it worse by leaving.." I said with tears forming in my eyes.

His eyes widened to the sight of me crying. "Oh darling please don't cry. I am alright now I promise." he said as he wiped the tears off my face with his thumb.

I threw myself into his embrace and held him close to me, never wanting to let go. He meant so much to me I couldn't ever leave him again. I would never forgive myself for doing that to him.
