The Final Fight - A Boxing Story

Punch-Out!!

Mom : "You had severe head trauma honey, now, you need to go back to rest."

Me : "But, but, how? I was just fighting the Michigan State Champion? What? Hu-"

You pass out from being overwhelmed.

Mom : "He's just like his damned father, always trying to be the best. It'll be his downfall."

A couple of years later...

Me : "I'm so hyped for boxing tryouts today. Yo, Floyd! You trying out?"

Floyd : "Yeah, of course! How could I miss this oppurtunity to go to the big league."

Tryouts pass, you both make it on the highschool Junior Varsity.

Me : "That was crazy. Yo Floyd, see you tomorrow!"

Punch-Out!! was a game where you were placed as a fighter against all of the UFC's greats, including Mike Tyson.

Me : "Oh man, oh man, oh man! I can't wait to get on Punch-Out!!"

You turn on your NES.

You hear the theme song. Oh man, that good ol' theme song.

You start by playing Glass Joe, KO'ing him pretty fast, as he was a lower capacity oppenent, thought he was quick on his feet. You then play Von Kaiser in his debut, you've been here a lot of times, so you know how his move cycles work.

5 hours later.

Me : "Oh man, it's 12 o'clock! I need to go to sleep."

56 minutes later, your mother busts into your room.

Mom : "We gotta go, we gotta go, right now!"

Me : "Mom what's happening?"

Mom : "There's a fire! Hurry!"

You rush out of your room in a rush with your little brother and mother. Problem was..
