Gran Torino: whoopsie hah I was carrying a nice big plate of sausages covered in ketchup when I accidentally tripped and fell down, clumsy me.

Izumi thoughts: okay that's a little weird.

Gran Torino: now who did you say you were?

Izumi: I'm Izumi Midoriya from UA high school.

Gran Torino: you're who now?

Izumi: I'm Izumi Midoriya!

(There's a pause of silence)

Gran Torino: what's your name girl?

Izumi thoughts: (sarcastic) oh great. (Serious) he was All Might's teacher so I knew he had to be pretty old but I didn't expect him to be bonkers.

(Meanwhile Gran Torino is stood there with his walking stick shivering until he falls over on his butt)

Gran Torino: I could really use some food.

Izumi: some food!

Gran Torino: Toshinori?

Izumi: Midoriya!

(He sits there with a gormless expression on his face)

Izumi: excuse me I just need to make a phone call.

(Steps out the door)

Izumi thoughts:  I should probably let All Might know the state this guy's in. He's not fit to mentor.

(Hears something open as she turns around to see him going through her suitcase)

Izumi: hey uh wait that's my stuff!

Gran Torino: why don't you fire an All for One smash at me.

(Izumi looks at him in confusion)

Gran Torino: I want to know how far you've come in handling it's power.

Izumi thoughts: is this even the same guy as before?

Gran Torino: this is a pretty good costume, now where's that attack.

Izumi: but sir-

Gran Torino: hey what're you doing here?

Izumi thoughts: what the heck is with this guy!

Izumi: I'm here because I need to know how to control One for All. I have to get so much better at it and fast. I'm also here because I don't know if All Might has much time left. I'm sorry but I can't waste my whole week messing around like this sir, I hope you excuse me. (Bows her head and goes to leave)

Gran Torino: as I thought.

(Stands and let's out a breath before he jumps into the air really fast as he starts zipping around the room as he rushes towards Izumi before just changing direction right in front of her as he's now above the door as Izumi looks on in shock)

Gran Torino: it's time to start showing me what you can do, ya newbie. (Giggles) I watched the UA sports festival on television the way you used your power was unthinkable, reckless. He's not training you well. He may be the symbol of peace and the number hero but All Might's a total novice when it comes to teaching. I can only image what a blunder he is in the classroom.

(Minor flashback)

All Might: "Now shall we get started you bunch of newbies."

(Flashback end)

Izumi thoughts: hey All Might called us newbies too and he has two sides sometimes playing dumb. This really is his teacher!

Gran Torino: I can't stand to watch you use your quirk that way so I suppose I'll have to teach you. Now hurry and get your costume on.
