Chapter 1, Flora's Backstory

Flora's back story

Flora, one of the many pirates that sail the North Sea, grew up just outside the village of the valley. She along with her two younger sisters, Laura, age 13, and Lilly, age 8, lived alone without parents, until Flora left her sisters, at the age of 16, for a crew of pirates in hope to bring money and other goods back for her sisters but little did she know the events that would lead her to where she is now, with the other lost souls. Will she see her sisters ever again?

"Laura, I think I have found a way to get us money," Flora said calling out to her sisters," the only thing is, I don't know how long I could be gone."
"What do you mean gone?" Laura, the older of her younger sisters, asked.
"Well, I joined a crew of local pirates," Flora said with shame in her voice.
"Pirates! The no good people who killed our parents." Laura said angrily, still hating on and wanting nothing to do with pirates after their parents were murdered by them.
"Laura, this is finally an opportunity for me to be able to get use money and place to live, we won't have to stay with that baker anymore. You always talk about wanting to get out of that bakery. I am doing this for you and Lilly"
"But I don't don't want my sister working with those assholes that kill mom and dad. What are we going to do if you don't come back, or you get hurt or worse killed?" Laura now clearly starting to tear up because you could hear the stain in her voice. 
Laura, what did I say say about swearing? And don't worry I promise I won't abandon the two people I love more than anything."
"Sorry. You know what it's fine if you go just please be careful, and please tell Lilly about this she is with Jacob and Jack in the bakery."
"Will do" Flora than went to the bakery to find Lilly, Jacob and Jack playing, " Lilly, I need to talk to you."
"Yes sis?"
"So you know how I have been try to find a way to make money, well I found just the thing. But I'm going to be gone for a while, but i promise I will come back."
"Well be safe sis."
"I will I promise, also Jacob where is your mom I need to ask her something?"
"Oh, Miss Flora my mom is in the her bedroom upstairs"
"Oh thank so much Jacob, Oh Jack tell your mom I said hi if I don't stop by her flower shop before I leave."
"Will do Miss Flora."
I then walked up the stairs to Sally's room, God I hope she will take care of the girls while I am gone, I mean we have been best friends since I was 13 and she was 16. I mean I helped her raise Jacob since she had him when she was 13. Little did I know she would help me raise my sisters.
"Sally I need a favor from you, I am joining a crew of pirates and I need you to take care of Laura and Lilly for a few weeks or how ever long I will be gone."
"Flora, of course I will You helped me raise Jacob, plus those girls are like sisters to me now after all the five of us have been though. You girls are my family now."
"Thank you so much, this means the world to me, oh shit by the way I am leaving tomorrow"
"Please stay safe, and come back in one piece, I don't want to have some peg leg or any shit like that."
"Don't worry I will be fine."
