It was the usual- get up, get dressed, make tea (or coffee, depends on the day), and write. You see, My name is Oliver Thorns. I own a fairly small letter shop in a fairly abandoned neighborhood. Tap tap tap. Under the dim lights I was tapping on the counter just thinking of what to write. A letter to my aunt Jade? Maybe a letter to the towns people? Or simply a cliché love letter for the universe to send me a reply back? Either or I glanced over the cup of warm tea next to me. I took in a deep breath only to let it all out with a dramatic sigh.
That's when he came in- Noah Poplin.
It wasn't a type of dramatic entrance or any sort, but it was the warm smile that made my day as soon as I heard the bell make a small ding. It was his messy brown hair and round glasses that reminded me of the earl grey tea I was sipping that had a splash of cream in it. I wish I could have noticed a little bit sooner that it was love in first sight, well for me it was.
